Sacking Gentle now would be the wrong decision, he deserves the season. However, I see little progression in the side and if that continues then AP may need to act. We still have absolutely zero attacking structure, lose the collision, fail to play the ball quickly, don't offer dummy runners, don't support enough, don't offload enough. These are all fundamental issues I would expect to see improvement in. This is the biggest disapointment for me.

That's why his injury excuse doesn't sit well with me. Of course we are missing some key players but we still do so many basic things wrong. We had no attacking structure against Rovers whatsoever. Yet we had trained all week with those player in those positions? |
