Surprised we didn't go for a 3rd captains challenge when Asiata got pinged for tickling Lewis after the kick
Not sure if you can for something like that? I.e. a penalty for supposedly foul play. VR would probably have backed him on that anyway even though there was clearly nothing in it.

Hasbag: I'm 100% confident nothing will even be mentioned about the JWH punch, despite an official been 4 feet away and it being on clear video.
It needs as many people as possible to tag the RFL and the press into the evidence to try and force their hand. Although that's still no guarantee that they'll act on it.
They won?t do anything. Burgess got away with his attack to Nsemba?s head in the Grand Final. And Hiku got away with a couple of bad challenges on Jai Field last season. Pretty sure they don?t study video evidence against Rovers players?

Fair enough if not allowed to challenge that, but we all know Lewis milked it to the max. Most frustrating thing is Moore was video ref at our game last week and he and his brother allowed 3 late hits on sezer that were worse than yesterday

It?s disgusting but another example of how poorly run SL is. They are allowed to get away with it.

| If you follow the letter of the law then cust was a sending off however it was a rugby incident with no intent, merely an unavoidable coming together. There is no realistic way of avoiding the collission when 2 players are going for the same ball at ful tilt in a game. He clearly didn't hit morgue that hard or morgue would have failed his hia.
The game needs to look at the rules imo or you just get games being ruined by sending offs where there is no intentional foul play. Maybe introduce what the rfu have with their 20 minute red cards where a replacement can then be brought on to bring the numbers back up to 13 but you pose an interchange player

| There seems to be a lot of attacking players who are dropping or slipping just before point of contact . The defender has no time at all to adjust his stature within a split second . I agree with Jake that the game needs to look at the current rules though . The Video Refs already look at in game head contacts so I'm sure they could judge whether any tackle was malicious or accidental .

Hull were valiant in defeat and progressing well, a better bench and I think Hull could have snatched the game, Rovers losing Davies and Burgess didn't help us and you capitalised on the edge.
The next few years are going to be interesting, Hull will keep improving and with the investments Rovers are doing we aren't going away either.
As for Lewis I'm confused by many comments about him, so Hull fans can chant about him been a sex offender which I have no issue with, they then chant about the paternity of his child again I don't have an issue as its banter, but then you take an issue with Lewis giving a little bit back to you?
Am I missing something or does he not have a right to give a little back?
Hull players where sticking two fingers up to Rovers fans, I don't remember Lewis offering out expletives to your fans?
Pro sportsmen will get grief and should be able to take it. The issue with Lewis is he runs around acting like a 5 year old on the pitch. He needs to mature and he'll be a much better player for it. Wane has spoken about how it's the reason he doesn't put him in thee england side as first choice. The best thing he could do would be get out of hull and go spend some time in an environment in the nrl where his antics aren't tolerated. Hull will overtake rovers in a couple of years. You saw yesterday how massive we are. 16-17k fans and owners worth half a billion. We dwarf you in terms of potential and the owners are here for the club, not investment land. i get more pocket money than you most of the top clubs are full of wealth you can only spend so much, the skill is in how you spend it,dosent matter how many billions they all have, dont forget hes gonna take a wage out of is investment, its great for the game in the city if we have 2 strong teams ,rovers are not there yet ,other teams will get stronger as well ,interesting times if your a hull or rovers fan

| For context, about Lewis with one incident yesterday. During the second half you can see him turn round to South Stand beckoning them on. This followed a bottle being thrown towards the pitch from the South Stand (West side). Thankfully it didn?t hit anyone. We were all quick to justify limiting Rovers ticket allocation and the segregation, but sadly shows we still have in the odd idiot within our own fan base.

He's never taking a meaningful income from a superleague team

We were all quick to justify limiting Rovers ticket allocation and the segregation, but sadly shows we still have in the odd idiot within our own fan base. Was that the one where Lewis started playing a mock violin towards South stand? It certainly riled a few people around me that one. I saw the bottle flying through the air (I sit in S5). It came from somewhere towards the back of South stand and landed somewhere in the first few front rows, so someone probably got a little drenching. It was probably due to it being derby day, and to the way the game was unfolding, but there did seem to be more than the usual quota of over-excited people near me yesterday. Around 15 minutes into the second half, three young guys (in their early twenties I would say) suddenly came and sat in our row, no idea where they had been for the first-half. Safe to say they were 'well-oiled' with one of them 'seven sheets to the wind'. They made a lot of noise (and shouted into their phones a good deal) for around fifteen minutes before thankfully disappearing who knows where! Although I'm fairly sure they weren't the ones throwing the bottle, don't think they were capable to taking aim! Derby day definitely brings out the worse in some elements of our fan base. Some seem to crawl out for this one game only each year. Thankfully nothing major seemed to erupt yesterday.

| Hopefully some of those who came yesterday will see we're a totally different team from last season and come again.
