Your first mistake was letting Josh Hodgson go, who went on to have a very good career at a higher level. Mistake repeated by allowing Litten to move on, who from what i have seen has come on leaps and bounds at HKR culminating in his selection for England Knights yesterday. Hull FC supporters obviously see more of Danny Houghton than other RL fans and although he has been a good and loyal player over the past decade he is certainly a 'yesterday man'..'"
Don’t let England Knights selection fool you.
Everyone gets selected for them at some point
Litten is quick off the mark but makes too many errors to be a top class hooker. He wasn’t going to get much game time with us so it was best for all concerned if he moved on.

| If Wynne is allowed to leave we'll regret it big time.

| Hardly surprising Josh Hodgson left, he never played hooker for the 1st team, and managed just 2 bench spots in total in 2009. Berrigan (who left at the end of 2010), Houghton and Tommy Lee were ahead of him.
I've never understood the phrase "letting .... go", when a player is out of contract he can do whatever he wants.

| While I understand the disappointment people would have should it come down to money RE Wynne, however the club really only has itself to blame.
For quite a while now the club has given out sentimental contracts to players who realistically are been paid more than they are worth. We could now be paying the price and losing out on the homegrown talent we seem to be aspiring towards. It's a short career, if a club is coming in and offering a better wage you can't blame players for having their heads turned. I am however reasonably confident that he will stay.

Hull Kingston Rovers have signed hooker Josh Hodgson from Hull FC on a two-year deal from the start of 2010.
The 19-year-old has been playing for Hull’s reserve team and has made two first-team appearances.
Hodgson will be Rovers’ second-choice hooker after Ben Fisher as Daniel Fitzhenry is returning to Australia at the end of the season.
“I was offered a chance to stay at Hull FC but I decided to go Rovers because I think I’ll have an opportunity to play more first-team rugby,” said Hodgson.
“It’s been a really tough decision and an emotional one and at Hull they’ve got a lot of good young hookers and a lot of good back rowers as well, so I think there’s more chance of breaking into the first team at Rovers.”

You keep going on about Lovodua, but he's played half a game at hooker all year, yet your comparing him to Houghton? Delusional'"
Where as Houghton hasn't even got close to getting an England cap
Cause Lovodua would offer miles more than Houghton does

And that's what I'm trying to get across Houghton and Taylor are definitely sentimental now
Both nowhere near the best in their positions ( Houghton never has ) Taylor spends far too much time in the stands last 3 years

| If Lovodua was English would he be the England hooker? I'd say it's too early to tell. It would certainly be controversial if he was picked ahead of the players who get picked ahead of Mint after only playing 40 minutes at hooker in Superleague.

I give Taylor benefit of the doubt for now, prior his injury last season he was starting to really show some form in his game, he has been solid since his return.
Houghton I agree, Hooker is such an important position and I couldn't name a good SL side he would get in. I don't get any pleasure in bashing one of our own but I do think there are many better 9's out there

| If KR are willing to offer the likes of Hadley, Litten, Abdull and Hodgson lots more money than us then let them go, not all about the cash sometimes, Litten done ok not amazing, Hadley been injured virtually every season, Abdull done well last season but needs to keep backing it up.

Hadley, unfortunately, was and still is injury prone.
Barely finished a match for us.
