| Quote: His Bobness "I think you were fortunate to have Hudds without Sezer and Salford for your loop/extra games in rounds 1 & 2.but yes you beat them both comfortably and that's all you can do. If you had got Rovers loop/extra fixtures of St Helens and Catalans well maybe it would have been different.
Quite why bottom teams like Rovers get top 4 teams for extra games and top 6 teams like Hull get bottom teams I really don't know but it does nothing to enhance the competition.
Shoot me down but I didn't see much special from Reynolds and having missed most of the past 2 seasons guess what? He's missing again. Get used to it.
Hey Hull have a good team and a good squad for sure but McNamara? Living on his Dad's name and surely it's a matter of time before Swift is found out by Hodgson.
Out of sorts Warrington were vulnerable today but they had to improve and they did. There are bigger tasks ahead and we'll all have a better idea after the Wigan games. Actually especially after the cup tie because Wigan don't often lose when it matters.'"
I seem to recall Wigan losing a Challenge Cup Semi Final in 2016 and the Challenge Cup Final in 2017. I’m just trying to remember which team beat them when it mattered.....?

| Really impressed with the defence changes.
Remember the many 'walk in' tries at the corner we used to concede, often with a 2 or 3 man overlap ?
Wire kept getting turned back inside despite having the most experienced & expensive halves in SL !!

Certainly hugely different performances in defence so far this season. Wire kept trying to out number us down the right hand side but it stood firm last season would have leaked a couple of try’s at least. Also we kept Austin out who previously we had a habit of letting score.

| Thing is, it’s still early days for all the new systems that have been introduced. I expect there’ll be improvements again, when players get even more used to their roles.
We certainly look a lot more sound , both in attack and defence, than we have done over the last couple of years at least.
Good thing is that we still have plenty to work on, and improvements in us.

I came here to point out the same. 85 tackles on its own must be a superleague record.....but to not miss a single one is ridiculous.

Two great defences on show , Wire definitely up for it. Jesus H Christ, there’s always a scape goat for him, now it’s a young kid playing stand off Keep the same set up and let him grow. Wakey next, let’s see how he goes. How are you Patton?

We was not fortunate to have only Hudds and Salford as our loop fixtures, Rovers got tougher fixtures for finishing bottom. You don't get rewarded for finishing bottom.
Reynolds has transformed the shape of our attack and whilst he has worked under Hodgson probably made the transition easier. He tweaked his hamstring won't be the first or last player to do that this season. I'm not concerned at all he seems to be embracing the club and at no point does he look like he is here for a holiday.
By an our of sorts Warrington, I presume you mean they've lost one game ?
Say what you like but we've conceded 5 tries in 3 league games, in comparison you concede that a game. We may not be the finished article but I've seen nothing from the opening games to make me any less optimistic of a pretty decent season.

Just ignore him, its easy to post on here and criticize Hull after your own teams win and our draw.
If he thought this why didnt he post this about our easy start and Reynolds after the Salford win.
Still early days, but very promising signs, defence looks very good and attack good in patchs.
.
Already 3 more points than last year

| I felt we gave all we had, and that is sometimes all you need. No wonder Houghton looked flogged when an opportunity to run presented itself, outstanding effort. Get the scrums back, before we all lose more players to injuries in this non stop breathtaking spectacle we have created for ourselves. Jordan Lane and the rest of the pack mammoth effort.

Thought Ben McNamara played well, he was steady, did well defensively and probably did what was asked of him by BH. By giving him the opportunities he and the team will only improve with the experience he gains. I really don’t see the logic of moving Carlos or Connor out the positions they are playing well in just to cover at 6 when we have a young lad who is more than capable at stepping in. To be honest moving players around and out of position just to cover would hurt us more both short and long term.
