| I definitely think that Jordan Rankin has a future at the club. As I've said before, he's the only one of our three recognised halves who shows a bit of spark.

Does he do it enough thought, scored a few good trys against London and Rovers, but has been good enough in the majority of games he has played. I'm not saying he doesn't have a future, but the jury's still put for me and I think we really need him to show his skills more on a regularly basis. the first few games his long kicking seemed good, but suddenly that has stopped.

I agree, I'd like to see Rankin given a chance alongside a decent no7.
Miller though has had his chances for me, haven't seen anything from him at all.

| I disagree, the last few games (Magic in particular) Miller was the one trying and doing the majority of the work while Rankin has been really quiet.

I agree also, but currently I not convinced either of them are good enough.

| I don't think Miller will ever get any better than he is now.
7's are not made or coached. They're born and play with a natural flair.
I would definitely keep Rankin and lose Horne. Rankin gives 100% and can play fullback.
Rangi Chase is NOT the player we need. He's got some incredible skills but more baggage than Terminal 5 and goes missing.
In the last few games I've seen him, he doesn't follow structures - his own players never know whats going to happen with the result the ball is flung into touch or into a playerless gap.

You don't think Danny Brough is a better player now than he was at 20?

He's always been a good player. The point is, you can't give a hooker a '7' shirt. We tried it many times, giving players the shirt who can't play in that position, all failed.

I'm really not sure about Miller. He has the skill set to be a really good player, the problem is he has no real game sense. Given a few years to learn his craft I do think he can develop into a good 7. However we can't wait that long.
I also think he needs either a top coach to work with, or to be alongside a top class half that he can learn from, and it doesn't seem likely that he will get either at Hull.

They're not. rankin has a bit of pace and at least runs at the line but has little in the way of creativity. Both way out of their depth and it was a stupid decision to pin our season on 2 inexperienced halfs and Richard Horne

Its not even about us waiting. As soon as he did find some form he'd fook off back to the NRL anyway leaving us back to square one.
Same as Rankin. Both will never find the form though as they are mid to bottom table NSW cup at best

Not necessarily disagreeing but why not? We seem to be in the process of waiting and waiting until the side is settled, the coaching set up is right, our young players are ready, the older players have gone, etc. Why not wait for Miller too?
This season is pretty much written off now, so why not give him and Rankin time to develop?
