Heremaia starting at hooker this morning for the Warriors. Not sure if it's been mentioned.

Quote: Lostyorkie "Kosh Berro probably went home early due to being sick of being moved around all the time due to our crazy half back release/appointment decisions.

Turner...god only knows where the club feels his position is....Is Prat a technical expression Kosh?

Gleeson appointment is at a least consistent in releasing players with alleged indiscipline issues to only appoint new players with alleged indiscipline issues.

I think we have been incredibly fortunate for phelps and Obst to come along...but they aren't an example of planning....more desperation.'"

Berro was moved around due to injury problems. And you're just guessing at why he left in any case.

I meant Tansey rather than Turner. My typo.

How many times has Gleeson been in breach of the Saints discipline code? Do you not think he's worth the risk?

I didn't say that these signing were an example of forward planning FFS. The point is that they are a reaction to a situation that couldn't have been planned for. You seem to be struggling with this concept.

I'm not sure, don't have Sky but Bet365 have it streaming on their website. Have to have £5 in an account, but the quality is pretty good.

It's not on 433 although McKinnon is playing in Wests v Newcastle on monday morning.

Wests v NZ is on 433 next week.

Nope not struggling with it buddy

Not seen stated anywhere that Berro went due to injury? He continues to play?

The Tansey issue was hardly a surprise ,a player who had alleged disciplinary issues before he arrived had the same here. But then the Tansey situation came about predominately because the club decided to release a full back and use a hooker in that position who became injured. Tanseys recruitment itself was a desperate appointment due to a lack of succession planning at FB.

Our forward planning for the off season was to bring in cover for half back which we didn't do until one fell in our lap. If wakey weren't in financial difficulties we'd have been watching horne and washy/turner in the halfs again this season.

Everyone knew berrigan was leaving weeks before the end of last season so it's hardly an excuse.

Anyway, I don't care how good or bad their forward planning is, the execution of it is abysmal

Think Kosh meant he had to be played in differing positions to cover for injuries within the squad. Apologies if I'm wrong Kosh.

Quote: Edenmain "People who are so bothered about his injury here is a quiz, find the link....

Nathan Fien, Lance Hohaia, Andrew Johns, David Shillington, Trevor Thurling, Joel Monaghan, Josh Miller, Michael Ennis, Trevor Thurling (2nd), Ashley Harrison, Wes Naiqama, Brent Tate, Darren Lockyer, Shane Tronc, Shannon McDonnell, William Zillman, Will Chambers, Willie Mason, Steve Turner, Brett Seymour, William Zillman (2nd), Ben MacDougall, Adam Woolnough, Steve Michaels, James Aubusson, Brent Tate (2nd),

and thats only the "top" players upto and including '09 you could and Campese, Vatuvai, Tate (3rd) and many others to that list.

Wouldn't want any of those playing for us would we?'"

Quote: JMR "There is a world of difference on the effect a debilitating leg injury can have on the performance of a back compared to a forward, particularly when they are on the wrong side of 30.

The world and his wife (with the possible exception of Sheldon) will tell you that McKinnon's pace has 'gone' since his knee was shot.'"

We need an out and out full back something we haven't had since Briscoe and Mckinnon is Agars preference for next year as long as he is solid, organises the defence and joins the line well then his lack of pace won't be a factor in my opinion and his age isn't even a concern for me.

Whiting isn't blessed with pace but plenty of people on here think he goes well at full back.

A point I've made myself. I'm not arguing for the fact that the BOD have a good plan.
