I know what you mean but it also concerns me that we're satisfied with an 18 point defeat. Our squad simply isn't good enough (by a long way).

| Up against a team packed with stars on form and with your HB pairing out. Player sin-binned into the bargain.
Not a bad result imho.

| Those lads worked damn hard tonight. But no matter how hard they work, if you have no half backs all the effort takes you no where. How many years are we going to continue with this situation? A couple of injuries and we're knackered. Other teams seem to cover for this situation, why can't we?
I'm maybe a silly old git but it breaks my heart to see those lads work so hard for nout.

To be fair we were missing both halfs and our full back and playing away against a top 2 team who were able to rest two players.

So you think with all the players we had out, compared to what they had wasn't a top 4 side performance? playing with almost a youth 1-7 besides Berro.(i think)

| IMO we need berrigan back at hooker ASAP. I like houghton but the distribution from the PTB is slow and innacurate. Means we look slow and laboured and struggle to make ground

Warrington had Briers, Bridge and Carvell missing tonight and one eye on the cup final. We're a long way short of challenging for honours, don't be fooled. We showed effort (but shouldn't we always) granted but it takes more than that to win things.

It's not all about the score sheet though. I've been to many games were we have won by 6 points or more and thought we have been poor.
Hull FC played with some real spirt today, and credit to them. Warrington were quality, but a couple of our own play making decision going slightly differently and we may have got the win today - with the injuries we have, against a squad as fast as theres, I think our lads deserve a pat on the back. We can take a lot of confidence into the game against Leeds.

I concede we will not win anything this season (secretly I think/hope/believe we will )...I disagree we are far off considering we had no organisers on the pitch, however I do not think we are far off....we will beat Leeds at the KC!

With our first team it we would be better, we do need to improve the sqaud and I am sure Agar knows this, you can't go from 12th to top in one season, it takes time to build the right squad.

Reminded me of the 3 pigs tonight. We huffed and puffed but never had a chance of blowing their house down
I'm glad you feel the same as me. A full strength pack should have given us a much better platform. For much of the match we struggled to clear our line. I'm also at a loss to see how our forwards looked so knackered at the end given we had 3 props and a 2nd rower on the bench.
We have absolutely no tempo to our game. We had 2 great wingers on the pitch tonight and they hardly saw the ball other than kick returns

The forwards had to do all the work tonight at least twice as much as they would normally so i would expect them to get tired and god knows how many times this has been said but how do you expect us to use the wingers a lot when we have no half backs on the field.

Why did the forwards have to do all the work tonight?
