| We can sack Agar and appoint MacLennan. Surely with Leeds' very poor start to the season he'll be getting the sack soon. Won't he........?

The fact he has just won back to back titles might buy him a little time and it's not like Agar has not had time, we are getting no better.

We did that at the end of last season. Now the same malaise seems to be creeping back in. Wonder what the common factor could be?

Please tell me you're not trying to compare McLennan's record as a coach with Agar's? Or Leeds' injury situation with ours?

| I would give Agar the matches against Rovers, Wire and the two games against Leeds. But if he is to go I hope the club have already been looking for potential successors. We can't sack him and then start looking for a new coach. I don't believe Moore is the answer, unless the club are looking for the cheap option again. Look what happened the last time we appointed someone with no first grade coaching experience.

One thing is baffling me!!
We bring in Dennis Moore, who was second to Des Hasler at Manly,
who appeared in consecutive Grand Finals.
And yet............
We still play in the same manner as the last two seasons!!
Is Moore having any input into the side at all???

For the avoidance of doubt I was referring to Sharp so maybe I should have said second last time.

| ALL down to tactics IMO !
Wasting 80% of tackles with one man barges doomed to failure, our dreadnought pack have made precious few breaks.
Most damning fact from Saturday was we didn't create a single clean break in 80 mins against dire opposition.
2 tries from kicks, 1 forward barge & one quick hands to the wing - we used to score good, well crafted tries but rarely under agar.
Players defo good enough - we should stroll top 4 & make a final.
Lynne for Hall?? Absolute joke, that choice on its own cost us 2 points.
Must must must go. Really confirm board intent on ripping off us fans if they think 3 years of dross is reasonable product.

cartoons/WB17.gif I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.
Money doesn't talk it swears, Obscenity who really cares, Propaganda all is phony.
I'm the son and heir of a shyness which is criminally vulgar.
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way.

The problem with sacking the coach in April is the chances of being able to recruit a top class replacement are slim. If the board do decide enough is enough within the next few weeks, we will probably require an interim coach to see us through to season's end. That coach will almost certainly be Moore and like you, I don't believe he is the answer either. If someone has reached the age of 50 without progressing beyond the status of assistent then its usually for a reason (ie other people have looked at him and decided he isn't head coach material).
Whether we like it or not, the probability is we are stuck with an Agar/Moore set-up until Sept/Oct. I'm not convinced sacking Agar now will achieve a great deal in the short-term. Once the decision had been made to stick with him for 2010, we effectively commited ourselves for the season. We've made our bed so lie in it, so to speak. Personally, I would stick with Agar for the season, unless it goes completely pear-shaped, but I hope the board are considering their options now, with discreet enquiries being made regarding possible choices.

| Agar will see the season out, then he'll go on to the England job full time, he'll fail at that (as anyone would, because the players simply are not good enough), who we will get in I have no idea, but I doubt it will be the "household" name we want.
Everyone ready to see Radford captain England

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

there's no way he'll get the England job, he just can't!
But in saying that mcdermott can't get in either where the he'll do we go?

"A panel made up of RFL chief executive Nigel Wood, RFL Performance Director John Roberts, RFL Head of Player Development Barrie-Jon Mather and former Great Britain captain Paul Sculthorpe will make the final decision"
Would you trust them to organise a 7 year old's party at Big Fun, let alone an international coaching position?
