Some would!!!! They just like to whinge about anything. The way I see it.....We are lucky that our team actually competes on a larger scale....and always has. Just immagine being a Dewsbury or Batley fan.....Horrible thought eh??? We play in a top stadium, have some real quality players and we have started this year on a high (again).....So what..we have lost a couple of games, we have seen what the lads can do to the likes of Saints. In fact i'm betting that we will have another piece of silverwear in the cabinet this year to sit next to the 'recovered' Roy Waudby trophey. (Won back against Cas) And if i'm correct..The Clive Sully Trophey too.
Yeah.....we all support FC......But look in the dictionary and read what the word 'support' actually means. Maybe the way some of our fans 'support' then the word should be changed to 'advise' (or think they can) !!!!
You say there are issues.....WHY????? We dont have a god given right to trot onto a playing surface and walk off winners.....NOOOOO....it aint like that. The other guys wanna win too. So in fact the only issues i can see is that fact. So it's not really an issue then is it ???? Just good healthy competition to give us value for money

So you dont think the fact Long likes to play Wigan had any bearing then.?
As I said Wolfie,it is just my opinion,and I can`t comment on the game as I was not there,but didn`t some people hint he still didn`t look fit?

He looked fine but got smashed after about 15 minutes because he had to run at a prop due to a lack of willing runners. He was sensibly out before the start warming his hamstring up in advance of the normal warm up. He scored near the end by running at full pelt over 20 yards. He was match fit and played behind a beaten pack on the night. Nothing else to say about it as far as I can see. |
