Where does Moa stand as far as quota/kolpak/non fed places go ???
If we give him a chance, he could really turn out to be a very good forward.

Yes a good SO would be very nice !! But I would always prefer to see the pack being sorted as the first and main priority. Every good team starts with a good pack !! |

I'm pleased with this signing, he may have had a dip in form over the last couple of years, but he is still a quality forward if we utilise him properly as an interchange and not as a starter. The pack for next season looks a good one with the likes of

Tickle (i think he'll be here despite the rumours)

we shouldn't be dominated the way we have over the last few seasons.

To be fair do you expect people to be blindly optimistic regardless? I get the feeling that Hull go out to sign big name players without paying for real top drawer quality.
I think Shrek will be a good signing although it would be stupid not be concerned about his injury and his drop off in form, his downfall could be compared to that of Fielden in many ways, that said SL is not as good a standard as the NRL and the agression he can bring is something that you dont ever lose.

to true, we sign players so the majority of fans who dont watch the nrl can be fooled by 'australian international' and the no one cares about age, recent form or injury record.
as long as the season passes sell. |
