It's been an amazing effort but we just shoot ourselves in the foot with our indiscipline.
Lane has been better this week too but he needs to cut out the 6 again he keeps giving.

I know winning is everything for many but we gave that a real go and last season with 12 out they would have put 60 on us disastrous start but so much heart and effort. a few interceptions but we need them to force the play in such games, lets face it we want to see some enterprise but boy we tackled to the end I'm pleased with the effort and spirit for me its getting better. still battling at the end. Little doubt we gave it everything we had.

A really committed performance but too many errors again. Looks like Russell's stint at Hull is over and Walker will be out for a few weeks.

On the positive side, Ese'ese went well. Hoy looked good when he came on. Lane and Okunbor both got through a ton of work.

I may be in the minority here but I feel like that’s a chance gone begging tonight. At 14-12 I thought we had a really good chance, but our old friends discipline and errors came to haunt us.

Positives being Ese’ese’s first stint was immense. I saw enough tonight to make me think we have a good chance against Leigh next week.

Everyone wanted a change in effort and mentality this season, we're getting that. We've got a lack of quality but hopefully we can add that over the coming seasons

Got to say that was a terrific effort and some really great performances and again following more adversity. An awful slow start which we seem to suffer from so far, but really proud the way they stuck at it and got back in to the game and made it a real contest. Better teams than us will go the Catalan and get beaten more than we did. Certainly leaves me feeling a little more optimistic about the season.
It’s hard to single players out tonight as though by and large they dug in and stepped up but McIntosh and Lane deserve credit as both have been criticised and rightly so previously but tonight can’t fault them at all.
One negative which I won’t dwell on but there were 2 players who still look poor at present but I’m perhaps being a little over critical.
They can be proud of that performance and hopefully use it to build on.
As fans thats all we ask for to turn up and give a real go and leave nothing in the tank.

All we can ask for is effort, we know the teams underfunded and lacking quality, but we got effort, tad frustrating we were our own worst enemy at times from some senior players who should know better.

Pele, tindall, trueman back will make a difference.

Controversial but when I watched Ashworth’s hit on Satae in real time I couldn’t see where the clash of heads took place, instead I saw an upper body hit that rocked Satae’s head back, similar to the hit by Ese Ese. They showed the contact at least 15 times afterwards and from different angles in slow motion and I still don’t see a clash of heads, and before anyone says it, yes I went to Specsavers.

Didn't see anything in the ashworth incident nor the one in the saints game. I guess we'll see Monday just how serious these hits get interpreted by the rfl.

Barrie Mac hasn’t helped with his guilty verdict. The rules of engagement are vague but satae comes in and it’s chest to chest contact.
Don’t agree with it but reckon with Barry’s endorsement, Cullen and co will dish out a 2 match ban.
Got my fingers crossed for Pele next week but reckon he’s going to cop a ban against Leigh.
I’m not a betting man but might go to the bookies and put a tenner on.

Have to say I totally agree, looked to me that Satae’s head hits Ashworth just about on the top of Ashworths pectoral as Satae actually puts his head down. Thought a t the time and still do that a penalty would have been a harsh call but understandable given the current climate bit the yellow was again an example of something that really can not be avoided and is something that happens in every game and is almost impossible to remove from the game.

Can see the MRP giving a game or 2 and if so we are just back to square one when the punishment is not fitting the incident and the inconsistency is again a huge issue.

Barrie McDermott is an embarrassment and must watch a totally different game to me or he’s struggling to see with his one good eye. For a guy who played who he did the comments he comes out with now are just cringeworthy.

As long as you keep paying your money to watch this type of game, then they don't care what you think.

And if you don't keep paying your money to watch this type of game, your pride will be attacked by your fellow supporters, who will tell you that you're not a true fan.

It's a lose, lose.

Satae was the guilty party in that incident. He ran the ball in too hard for modern rugby league.

Suspended the guy for 3 weeks.
