You shouldn't. But your post implied that you did. After all, how could you possibly make a judgement on his value for money if you don't know how much he's earning?
And he has been a far better player player for us than G Horne. The larger injustice would be if it were the other way around TBH.

I doubt he cares either way, he can do his talking on the pitch (when he gets on it) I just wish him an injury free season and the opportunity to prove me wrong, be happy if he does.

He strikes me as the kind of bloke who'll just laugh some of the comments off TBH. Doubt anything posted on here will upset him.
Some of it might make him chuckle, mind.

'" Depends on which Rich you're talking about
Some people don't like my opinion that he won't play much unless we have a bad year for injuries, also that i think it would be better for him if he moved on to try and establish himself in a specified role and also it could help him financially, it could also benefit the club who could employ a younger player who could do just as good a job for probably less money Ie. Turner.
I'm sure even Rich would understand my point of view more than some on here.

Let me see if I understand your view then. You rate Washy as a better player than RW and he should be in the team, vice captain no less, every week with RW nowhere near the team unless injuries strike. On the back of this you think RW will leave at the end of the season as Hull will not offer him a deal as younger players will offer better value for money.
IMO, for what its worth, this scenario could be turned round 180 degrees if RW establishes himself in the team as many of us feel he should. Personally I hope both players play to their full potential as they both can offer a lot but if RW plays as I feel he can then, with him in the team who knows where we could end up.

FWIW I don't think it matters if both Whiting and Washbrook play well (when they play) as Agar won't IMO drop Horne from 6 or move Fitz away from 13. Yes I do think washy is a better player than Whiting, some don't. I just think my scenario regarding Whiting is more likely.

| What a bizarre thread. We got rid of G Horne, Lee, Thackray, Cordoba, King, Thorman, Byrne, Tony, Maloney, Broughton. We kept Whiting, the consensus being he offered good value, versatility and footballing ability. Plus relatively cheap and as a squad player, which we now have few of. He re-signed on 28th August and most were very pleased to see him do so. Since then we have played, what, 1 or 2 games? How can he suddenly be fit only for the exit door? Only on RLfans.
