Shot ourselves in the foot to many times and never learned from the errors we coughed up.. Jack sh17 is what he is, always bumbles through games leaving everyone confused at what he's doing. Still no excuse for the errors we gave Wigan to capitalise on. 
Our edges were poor today but hopefully will learn from today. 
Hopefully no injuries and we chuck everything in to next week against Huddersfield then a week off. 

The only teams who have beaten us so far are last seasons Grand finalists and the best two teams in the competition so far this season.


We've been pummelled in the second row with injuries for the majority of the season so far.


This team isn't letting us down. 

The Leeds game feels like it'll be a guide to how good we are, I feel like us, them, Catalan and Leigh are in the same playoff spot chase.

I like to think our team has a better belly for the fight than Leeds. I think we would have shut that game down against Rovers better than Leeds did the other night had we been in that position.

I agree, and I'm happy that Hull FC are finally getting themselves back to being a truly competitive side.It was a great atmosphere today too

We're trying, and that's a great sign. And when you're having a good go at it. Then you have a chance. Probably a couple of quality players off challenging for the silverware again. But those quality players we could already have within. We still have two babies on our wings that both look like they're gonna make it and have bags of speed.

I think the week off can't come soon enough for us after a tough few rounds of footy. 

You'd like to think so. I think it's a chance to up our intensity at training. Ready to go for a hot summer period.

We have many seasoned pros in our team, I don't think we're fatiguing yet.

Wigan still the best side we've played this season, when it clicks for them they're pretty much unstoppable, they were clinical today and we made far too many errors.


Think the long minutes for some players is starting to catch up to them, especially the ones in the middle. As said above the week off can't come soon enough, we look tired.

Pretty terrible performance from the off.  The first set they marched easily up the field which is a good indicator.


Way too many errors and missed tackles to be competitive and it looked like a game too far for our patched up side, we really are missing 2 decent (proper) 2nd rowers.


Having said all that, they were fortunate to be awarded 2 tries which had gone up as no try and I also thought the field one looked like an obstruction but I've not watched it back.


Worst part of the game for me was that period in the 2nd half at 26 12 when we had god knows how many sets in their 20 and never looked like troubling them.


Disappointing overall but we'd all have taken 4th after 9 rounds before the season started.


Hopefully some easier home games to come

It?s still April but so far the only teams to beat are Wigan, kr and Leigh will take some beating too.Catalans, Leeds, saints, wire are all vulnerable.
Really could do with another signing to boost the squad.

Wigan smothered and dominated the game.
I just think we have to recognise that Wigan are a champion side.
