I think he's doing a decent job and deserves to be back by the fans and AP. He has done well give young players a chance whilst his recruitment has been hit and miss. Defensively we are much improved under him and in general have been hard to break down.

The most disappointing thing for me is that we don't seem to have improved our mental toughness and attitude. I expected a new culture to be instilled and that we would be ready for each game mentally. I don't think this has happened and any side that wants to be successful must have a strong mentality along with a honest work ethic.

I would accept 6th but anything less than that is poor. We badly need some size in the forwards, Paea is a step in the right direction.

I always thought it would take 2/3 years and so it's proving. I'm just not sure if Gentle can turn us into a team that can challenge.

Between him and AP at least we're looking better in a long term sense. Young players having a shot e.g. crooks lineham etc. Even signings looking to add young players he can mould. Thomson, and been hearing we've signed griffin from our neighbours.
I think we've had no continuity in our combos, halves, entire left, that's gotta effect fullback linking. Injuries been fairly harsh again. That said though was expecting more.
We're gonna have to find our form as fast as we lost it or seasons gonna be a real let down.

Not an FC fan and I have only seen derbies and Sky games. For what it's worth, you have some very good players, but they are not playing as a team. That is down to the coach. All players need to know their roles and responsibilities and it seems to me your players don't have a clue. You are all knocking Ben G but he was your best player on Monday night. You need a no nonsense prop and Mickey P will fit that bill, but don't expect him to play for you like he plays for us: Peter Gentle is no CS.

To be fair he was doing well until the last silly comment.
