I stared off with Hull FC live but had to switch to Blunderside after about 20 minutes when it started buffering. It wasn't my connection but sounds like i was the only on to suffer from it.

For the 20 minutes I listened to it was much better than RH. I'm guessing that will be the commentary for the game on Hull FC live.

Same here on many occasions and it seems this is his course of action (I am still awaiting the letters from his solicitor he threatened me with) when he's challenged on the drivel he spouts, as he simply can't handle the fact when he is wrong and it's pointed out to him.

To call the guy a rank amateur would be unfair on such people, how he got a job at the BBC is a mystery and how the hell he actually keeps it is an even bigger one.

I dont mind having a "home" commentator for my own teams games, its standard in the US that local broadcasters have non impartial commentators. In minor league sport they often work for the team, like James Clark.

Its getting Rovers commentating on my team i don't like, there is no enthusiasm for the team or excitement generated in the coverage.

he's appalling, not just his commentry but his inability to operate the equipment. i listened yesterday after the rovers game and he failed to cue up every link to the interviews. this happens regularly when he is on, the links the faders, the cuts to breaks are all screwed up - reminds me of alan partridge

Totally agree, Richardson is one of the most negative people I have ever listened too. He is a KR supporter and finds it impossible to be impartial when being co-commentator on FC 's games.

It's the same for City they are 2nd in the league yet you would think they was bottom of the league judging by the appalling negative opinions given by these idiots on RH.

The only team in the City I ever heard enthusiasm for on RH is KR.

Irrespective of anything else, it's his complete lack of knowledge on the game that is the worst part. His interviews are cringeworthy and I'm surprised sandycock hasn't told him to feck off by now. Caught a bit of his interview yesterday and gollum asked a question about injuries to which sandy replied they had none and then gollum's next question was whether a specific player had come through the game injury free.

I'm pleased he's a rovers fan so he interviews our coach infrequently

It says it all when Sandercock, who pretty much either dislikes or feels very uncomfortable on radio/in front of the camera sounds more fluent and coherent then a supposedly experienced broadcaster!

Maybe he's David Lloyd's lovechild and therefore has an inborn hatred of all things Black and White.
