| Really pleased for him as Ablett has been getting massive raps from the Leeds fans the way he is performing at centre but Crooks handled himself very well and showed why everybody to do with the club is so high on him.

| I was very pleased for him and his family. He showed he has the heart for it; missed a couple of tackles in the 1st half, probably more to him not being used to the pace of the game, and not forgetting the quality of the opposing players. From therein he looked to gain confidence in all areas of his game, put his winger away and took his try like a seasoned professional.

| Think he was thrown in at the deep end vs Wigan, and he's certainly kept his head above water, need to get him on a lengthy deal

| He looked very good and a lot further ahead than the game time suggests. Very very impressed. Always thought he looked good last year, taking the step up hasn't hurt him at all.
Gentle said all the right things on Blunderside inferring the intent is to tie him up. The Club better not let us down on this.

| I was very impressed with his assist for Briscoe's try and the way he took his own try. Showed a lot of composure.

| When he gets the physique to match his talent he'll be a cracking player. Superbly balanced runner looks classy with ball in hand.

The similarities between him and Kallum Watkins are for all to see as Watkins will have been around the same body size when he made his debut and has slowly been putting on the kgs season after season.
Get the impression Crooks development will take the same path.

| Best compliment I can pay him was that by the 2nd half I'd stopped even thinking about the fact that he is a young player playing his 2nd SL start, and considered him a first team regular.
I think Tony Martin has done a good job for the club, and I have a lot of respect for him for taking to the field against a physical Hudds side with a neck injury...but he is going to find it very hard to win his place back ahead of Turner, Yeaman and Crooks.

| While Martin is still at the club for the rest of the season, Crooks will certainly learn alot from training with TM. which can only be good for the kid.

| Just worth mentioning the way he timed his pass to Briscoe to the very last second to put him away. Great thinking and skill for a young lad that has had a daunting couple of sides to face on his debuts....
