[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

I'm stating the obvious facts.
For all we know the board could make 4 massive signing's in the off season, but that's not a fact i'm trying to discuss now, the fact is we are loosing some of our quality players, and i'm surprised it's not worrying some of you.
When Manu didn't sign, and then Turner is holding, i'm thinking oh god, just when we start to get some consistency and start to look a better team structurally it all goes tit's up.. we've just lost a full back, we was already short in the havles for quality, so this now means horne will have to slip through to full back....
Nicklas ain't ready no where near, ellis has a quality kicking game, that's about it.... so you could say half way though the season 2 key positions (one in the halves and at full back) has been blown open once again.
When will we ever have a consistent half back pairing, and a proper bloody full back! I think our attacking play will suffer due to this.
Manu? Will he continue to play the way he has been playing, is his heart elsewhere now? lot's of questions to be asked. We will find out on Saturday by the reaction of the players, after past results and also the fact Leeds always give us a mauling, the Leeds game with some of our "key" players back really will give an indication as to how far we've come or "how far off" we are.'"
I've never known an poster have mood swings like you do.
You say your posting facts then use the words possibly.

| Quote: Robbo4 "Just to clarify the Wade situation. Gentle said on Humberside last night that he offered to see out the season but Gentle told him to be selfish in this situation and to go now. It was also telling that when Gollum asked him if it was a blow to lose one of his big signings Gentle replied with "he wasn't one of my signings". I actually think Gentle sees this as a good opportunity to bring in his own players without having to pay off a large contract. I personally think wholesale changes to the playing squad is exactly what this club needs. Bringing players in on the right terms is easier than trying to reduce the wages of players being over-paid. Let's all just be patient and allow PG and the club the time to undo all the problems caused by the previous regime.'"
Spot on for me

| I'm surprised by Manu's decision but if you think about it, Moa is obviously going and Luaiki's already gone - he don't fancy being a one man mafia.
Being serious, losing those 2 may be a factor and lets be honest, its his last pay day and saints are obviously offering big dosh under a proven coach like Brown.
We've still got Westerman and Ellis to name but 2 to add to our current back row options, it's hardly a priority.
I like many have wanted to see Horney play FB for years so again, whilst this is a short term blow losing Wade, I'm happy RH will be in a more 'appropriate' position next year.
The half backs, i do agree to an extent. The young lads have a lot to prove yet and personally I have my doubts and Seymour to me just isnt what i want to see in a scrum half. An improvement on recent seasons as he's a decent organiser yes, but he needs to run with the ball more. I'd swap him him in a heart beat for Dobson or Dureau. I'd hope to see a more running h/b for next season and I'm sure we will.

I bet Gollum is starting to dread interviewing Mr Gentle.
As far as I can remember Lynch was the first Gentle signing and he, Pearson and McRae have reiterated more than once that the squad Agar presented them with was not complete, and inferred that the signings made prior to Lynch were not what they would have made.
So here we are, undergoing the process of creating Gentle's 'sleeping giant' SL team. That means massive change, some welcome some not. They would have liked to keep Manu, but not at a price that compromises the end result. Ditto Turner IF he goes. Other than those two, who's going/gone that we haven't tried to keep?
I'm happy and excited, but if you're not, dobbo, why don't you start a petition, or is it 'The Bomber IS Back' that writes those?

| The boat can't sink if it hasn't sailed yet. It takes time to build a top squad.

Uncertainity regarding Moa, and O'Meley, and now why is turner holiding out!
I'm sorry but if you have "best mates in Hull, and are enjoying "the time" in Hull, signing an extension is a no brainer providing the contract details/wages are good, so why is he making us wait?
Seems ever since the Ellis signing everything contract player/contract wise has gone down hill..
We have an out and out full back gone, let's be honest we struggle with options without him.. Lost our best player and most creative/attacking player down our left edge, we could be loosing turner our hottest prospect, and on top of that, O'meley will probably retire next season, moa is still a question mark, apart from Lynch, that would leave a pack of; Lynch, Pitts.....do the maths.
If you want my honest opinion, i'm more worried about next season than this... and half way through the season we shouldn't be doing that, we should be enjoying this year...
What's your thoughts, is something going on behind the scenes that we don't know about?'"
Think you need to change your location from 'Sunny...'.

| I can understand the OP'c concerns if Im honest because whichever way you look at it we do seem to be losing some quality, however like I've said previously it's now up to Gentle to go out and recruit wisely and take this club forward, it looks like he'll have plenty of money available on the cap so they'll be no excuses. I also heard his interview last night and echo what robbo has siad it certainly sounded like he was making a point that McKinon wasn't one of his signings.

| I am extremely excited, optimistic and as passionate about what is going on at Hull Fc as anybody. I have got my passion back this season after having it drained slowly away by the previous regime. I have even started going to away games once again.
Look at it this way. Yeah we have lost Manu, possibly Turner and who knows maybe others, let them go and hope they regret their decisions down the line. Wade going was just one of them things, lets move on.
But we have signed Gareth Ellis already. Every other super league club went in for him and he chose us. I dont pretend to know what he is earning as it is none of my business, but again he chose us. I am also sure that it was stated that we didnt make the biggest financial offer, but again he chose to join us. Now i assume as part of the negotiations. Bomber and the others will have told Ellis about our plans, our playing targets, maybe even told him who we already have agreed to sign, and guess what Ellis chose to join us.
The future is bright, its black and white. Trust in the AP he will deliver

The number of matches missed through injury by Willie Manu compares very favourably with matches missed by Gareth Ellis last season and the present season (40%). Bearing that in mind I’m not sure Manu would be a better option for Hull
