the first album by the fleet foxes is an absolutely stunning record,the best harmonies since pet sounds by the beach boys IMO

Think very pedantic its but a name of a tribute band .
Seen Peter Green when with Fleetwood Mac and last year at Hebdone Bridge.
Also got tickets to see Lindsey Buckingham at The Lowery in December

Off to see one of my favourite bands in March, [iPuressence[/i at the Duchess in York. This Manchester Indie band is absolutely superb live . I was tempted to get tickets for the Stone Roses next year but 55 notes put me off .
Recently seen the [iSpecials[/i at Ice Arena , Terrible venue and sound and were miles better at Brid Spa and at the Apollo in Manchester, Still they put on a decent show. Also saw the [iEnglish Dogs[/i at the Adelphi a couple of weeks back .
Currently listening to [iConflict'[/is [iUngovernable Force[/ialbum .

We went to see Karima Francis at the Duchess last month; It was our 1st time there and it definitely won't be the last. It's a great venue and there's some quality acts pass through.

As usual, you're a man of impeccable taste Bones! I'm off to the Duchess end of next month to see Electric Six. My next gig will be Sultans of Pings next Thursday in Birmingham. There is a chance that my band could be supporting Peter and the test tube babies soon!

I've never been to the Duchess but its supposedly next door to the Fibbers club to which I have been . Apparently it's a little bigger than fibbers by all accounts.

going to the manics o2 show in december. very excited about this as they are playing all 38 of their singles in one gig. also got tickets for alter bridge in manchester, kasabian in nottingham and walter trout in holmfirth which i'm very much looking forward to

listening wise, i was surprised at how good the new blink 182 album is, and also had a little listen to the new evanesence record

to broaden it out a bit how do you listen to your music nowadays? - cd, vinyl, radio, mp3, spotify, downloading? i'm a spotify premium account holder and hardly buy any music now, though i occasionally get some from the amazon store. no physical purchases anymore which i admit is a bit of a shame but i havent the room any more for loads of cds, records etc, i've enough old stuff as it is

Duchess is about 100yards away, towards the centre.

Have to say I'm looking forward to see the Crue too, will remind me of my youth too lol and the hoilday to Florida when I went on the Rip Ride Rockit Coaster and chose 'Kick Start my Heart' and my tune of choice for the ride, excellent choice it was too
