You're kidding, right?! We may as well just keep Agar and same squad too.

Quote: Wilde 3 "Saints have some good signings for next year, and their youngsters wont be a mainstay of the side as a result, but when they do play they know what they are doing. I will say they will be 3rd again.

I think we have a good shot to be 4th, but would be happy with 5th'"

Graham's departure is a massive blow to Saints' front row though. Whilst the rest of the squad still looks typically strong like they always do, their weakness/lack of depth is in a pretty key area. I can see them starting next season slowly until the weather improves, unless they still have a monster prop signing up their sleeve.

Quote: east hull FC fan "On paper, they're squad is no better than ours. Now we haven't got Agar holding us back, I don't see why we can't compete with them.'"

On the pitch it is at the moment,we're pinning our hopes on Gentle being able to turn it around. Look at Saints this season,no home ground and horrendous injury problems and still sitting pretty. They aren't languishing in 8th spot moaning about injuries to their key half backs blah blah blah as some sort of justification for under performing. They've knuckled down, blooded youth and in the process, unearthed the next generation of stars. I tipped them to drop off big style this year due to an ageing squad having to be replaced and expected them to be in a big transitional period. Instead they've got a good coach who's galvanised the squad, coached them through it with motivation and skill. I'm preying Gentle has the same qualities and attributes.

I believe 34 points is an achievable goal for next season. Hopefully achieved by not losing home games like Wakey and Cas this season and hopefully taking more than 3 points out of a possible 20 off of this seasons top 5.

Top 4 and reach the semi's of the CC I think should be the minimum aim.

There is a large turnover of players, so I would hope to see a few more friendlies to get them bedded in before the season starts.

Wigan and Warrington are out of sight at the moment although Wigan are losing McGuire which could drag them closer to the chasing pack. I hope for top 4 but the main thing is to know we are in with a chance of winning every game if things go right for us. Apart from a freak result at Wire (I wasn't there so don't know how that happened) we were beaten before taking the field against the top teams as we knew we couldn't beat them.

We managed top 8 this season. Given how this season panned out was you happy with that as well?

warringtons best players are coming to the end of their careers, it won't be too long before their cycle of success ends and transition begins.

wigan won't be as strong without madge.

leeds are already in transition.

I can see the curve and it looks to me llike hull will catch the wave of success next.

My prediction is you'll become champions in 2014.

Top 4 is a realistic aim, with the challenge cup a must.I hope the young guns will do themselves justice too,as with Fitz,Lauaki,Washy and Dowes gone, and only O'Carroll the only confirmed fwd(Lynch obv looks likely)it leaves us a fwd or 2 short on this year.

Challenge cup as always depends on the draw, we could get Wire/Wigan away in the first round.
