For me Kirk is a centre with the skills of an average second row forward.
He hasn't a decent passing game and he lacks the elusiveness most top centres seem to have.
He needs to be brought onto the ball, give him quality passes and he's one of the best in the business at what he does.
BUT, right now we haven't anyone with the ability to do that regularly.
Therefore he looks average alongside most of the players.

Last player to leave the crowd at the end last night, got poor service as usual but his defence was first class, he stopped three over laps by coming out of the line early, and did not miss anyone. For me, he like few others can only be judged when he is given quality ball and well timed passes! |
