| Griffin admitted he was lazy at the beginning of the season
Leopards never change their spots and what I can only assume we’re seeing is the laziness that never really goes away

| We don't play to griffin's strengths. He needs quick ball to give him space to work in but he rarely gets it. He isn't a 2nd rower either

So they didn't offer him a new contract when we signed him? Surprised at that

I post on the fly and living over here I am not privy to all the news/views.
I just go back to the "I've been lazy" comment. Alarm bells went off for me as soon as I saw that.
Lazy in training, lazy in studying your opposition centre, lazy in practicing defence etc etc
Tom Brady works harder than 99% of the players in NFL - check out his results

All players like quick ball Jake, but good players can and do make space for themselves.
In my opinion Griffin isnt a good centre and you say not a second row then what is he?
He is a tractor when we need a fast car, but in light of our current injuries i would still use him off the bench as an impact second row

as much as we often disagree, Griffin isn't SL stsndard, he's lazy, slow and doesn't play for a team. He only cares about himself, I'd rather see someone who cares about the club than watch his lard backside waddle to the nearest defender.

| Griffin's defence is pedestrian at best and gives up too easy when there's an outside chance of at least getting to the player. The Salford game he just stood there like a statue not moving to take his man and so Faraimo had too which left the overlap, Griffin just watched put his hand on FB back and did sod all whilst their winger went in untouched.
I'll say it again, would rather have Logan than Griffin all day long.

Having just seen the highlights!! of the Salford game I have to say Griffins defence was simply appalling. For a big unit he's got not impact.

| so connor flapping at players is ok? griffin isn't the best centre weve had but he aint the biggest problem we got atm, shaul attempted tackle was the worst, atm we are as a team doing it the hard way, big game for us against cats,

Nope, Connor flapping at players isn't acceptable and nor is JS's downward form either but Connor brings a ton more in attack than Griffin could even dream of.
Considering he was the big name signing for 2017 (before we/the club knew about Kelly) he's being massively disappointing, Connor hasn't, he's exceeded expectations.

Yes the Shaul effort on their halfback was feeble.he didnt have to tackle him just push him in touch.
T o be fair though he shouldnt have had to even deal with that because the Connor/Griffin effort was was even worse.
Its not the first time though we have seen Griffin switch off.Websters try for Cas was another that highlighted how poor he is in defence.
Hopefully we can get Connor back to centre but that will depend on whether Shaul is fit or not.
If Connor has to go to full back then like Knocker i would rather see Jack Logan at right centre.
I have a feeling anyway that Logan will play on Friday even if Shaul is fit.

| If any of our 3/4's needs dropping it's the bin man. Other than the hudds game he's been way off. As for griffin, he looked a lot better in his preferred left centre position

At least he only got a brace last night.
He scored a hat-trick the game after Bumpy got stuck into him.
