I've talked to a few players before and a week long camp is long. Legs due to double sessions tend to ache and get stiff after a few days and by end of the week your trying to get info into fatigued minds and bodies.
3days like this and then a re cap after Christmas sounds smart planning to me. RadFord taking his experiences as a player it would seem.
Also I cannot understand the logic in rovers doing a warm weather camp before Christmas!! Why do all that work to then have time off over Christmas and training in the worst of the weather in January and February when you're most likely to miss sessions due to snow etc!'"
we've tried Warm weather camps for years and they haven't worked so may as well give this different pre-season a try.
aside from 2009 I can't recall us making a good start to any recent season, and that ended up being a horror show from the 6th game onwards! even in our 2006 season as runners up we started poorly and Kear was sacked. If anything in the last few years we've seemed to have peaked about half-way through the season and then dropped off again, missing the boost of a good start and the 'glory' of a goo finish  |

IF we don't get many injuries he also says.
you've got to aim high I think, if you don't then what's the point of turning up? fair enough you have to be realistic with it and he has in a sense. If he'd have come out and said well finish in the top 4 and win the CC I would have been shaking my head, but his statement is a fair reflection |

Lets hope he's a better judge than your chairman who thought you were a banker top 2/4 last season,hard to believe he could be worse.!  |

It seems our "expert" is getting confused with matt keating, kris's elder brother who has played over 100 games at hooker for parramatta,while kris has played scrum half/half back nearly all his career.  |

Or maybe he's referring to the Bulldogs fans forum, where the majority posters claimed they was not bothered he was leaving, and that he was a hooker playing in the halves? I left links on another thread, search my posting history if you want to read for yourself!

young players can either learn fast or never kick on & tbf im glad lenny as signed Rankin as he as played in his position most of his career give or take the odd spell @ FB, rather then try & mould some utility player into it & spoil the poor blokes reputation. |
