Maybe you haven't watched Rovers' season? I assure you, he has.

| out of the starting 17s of both teams id place dobbo, paea, paterson as better than miller watts and tickle the rest your better with our full back and hooker about equal your step up squad players are in my opinion better across the board(caro to crooks Hall to Shaul our horne to Whiting etc) so coaching is the next major factor so i think maybe sandercock is better looking at the 2 clubs finishing positions sandy gets more out of our bang average squad than gentle does from yours (opinions only)

| I was very much in the Gentle in camp until last night.
Let's look at it this way. You're the manager of a successful store. You're selling a bit more than you used to and the performances indicators are showing a small improvement. However you bring out a new product (we'll call that Wembley) and hype it up but ultimately everyone is disappointed and returns it. Fair dos, it wasn't the best but it's a start and the rest of the year is progress.
You then leave the shop doors open and everything gets nicked. You can't gloss over that with good sales. I see it as gross incompetence.

lol i remember it well a game backing up from the derby key men out kids in and we were an embarrasment but it was a league game 99.9 percent of fans knew we would lose and in the grand scheme didnt matter much last nite was a comp diff scenario (Gentle is far better in front of the cameras than sandy, but id struggle to think of sum 1 worse )

| I think 99.9% of our fans expected to lose last night if they're 100% honest. The league table doesn't lie, Huddersfield are the best team this year and are worthy champions. I'm not defending FC at all because they were a shambles.

I think they did but more like a good effort and fall short like against Warrington last year.

Firstly my apologies I don't intend to add to the genuine upset and anger at last nights game and am not trolling. However this muppet has been living it large on the Rovers board all week.
If suggesting Sandercock maybe a better option than Gentle I'll leave it up to others to decide which coach has underachieved and which coach has over achieved in relation to their resources, playing staff etc.
Sandercock has a record club defeat to his name. Suffered in a game 72 hours after a derby in a game he stated he didn't want his players in with a significantly weakened team.
To compare that suggestion to what your players turned out last night is blinkered beyond belief. A 148 year club record defeat. In a play off game I and many others thought you had a chance in.
If you want embarressing watch Holdsworth's efforts from marker for Robinson's fourth try and how Robinson runs past half a dozen walking players to get to the ball!
My apologies to others. i enjoy reading the Hull board as there is far more reasoned rugby discussions on it. Ours is spoiled by these muppets.

It's the manner of defeats - Wembley and now this - that's caused the rightful uproar and made our chairman look like he'd swallowed a wasp last night.

Although they're horrible, blowouts happen to all but the best in SL. Despite been pretty average in 2011 and 2012 Rovers ran up 70 points on teams on a couple of occasions. You put 70 on Bradford at the back end of last year.
Sometimes the game goes beyond the point of a momentum switch being possible and you get a runaway train scenario.
When it was Sandercock and 6-84, I thought we needed to look at the bigger picture - including that horrible blot on the landscape but not focussing on it exclusively.
Hull came in 6th, reached Wembley and won a play-off game - not spectacular, but not sacking territory, surely?

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Most SL clubs' record defeats have come in the summer and 4 points for a try era (Saints getting battered by Wire in 1912 or something like that being about the only exception), so as with our new record, I think this maybe over emphasises the trauma.
I might be wrong but Hull have conceded over 70 only 3 times - all in the past [i14[/i years. This just didn't happen in mud and snow so much.

Nope, but one was a game in the middle of a group of hard games that for whatever reason the coach decided to rest half his team and ultimately throw the game, this backfired as the record score was a bigger issue than the actual inevitable defeat. (and our defence is widely recognised as gash at the best of times.
Last night on the other hand has been coming, Hull have put in some terrible displays buit got away with them due to being against poor oppo or the conditions assisting, last night your rubbish display coincided with a wounded Huddersfiled clicking well early on, tbf it could have been worse.

I'm not calling for anyone to be sacked.
Just reminding certain rovers fans who seems to have forgotten about that defeat and the fact that your fans have called for your coach to be sacked..
