Fitzgibbon wasn't that good,had better service out of Ogre........that players you mentioned are usually finished in Aus,no chance of S.O.O or test football so they come here,in the case of Monaghan..he had to leave woof woof |

All those mentioned came here before the new TV deal pushed oz salaries way beyond the reach of british clubs. Now, the only ones who come over are those who can't get a decent deal in oz |

He was contracted wasn't he but his club were happy to release him as he isn't good enough for the NRL |

This is hilarious. Burns is an average NRL reject who happens to be better than any half Hull have had since Cooke defected east.
Strutting round looking good in SL cos he can no longer hack it in the NRL. That sentence was purposely written to describe Ellis.

Burns isn't as good as Head or Dykes or even Long. The problem with all of those is they spent as much time on the treatment table as the pitch. |

Who cares if Burns isn't good enough for the NRL, 90% of the imports in SL aren't.
Look at Dobson, Burns may be a knob, but he is a better half than anything we have at the moment.

Burns epitomises what you want in a halfback,good organiser,passionate,gives 100% every game and makes sure everybody in the team gives their all.For me that describes a top rugby league player. Terry newton,ben westwood are 2 examples,hate them when they were against you,but would love to have them on your side.
