Busy day with the Stewart, Cartwright and Sutcliffe news from the HDM and Abdull now officially confirmed by the club. Surprised we are bringing in a full back so are we presuming Walker is on his way out? Don't know much about Stewart and Cartwright and have spoken before about Abdull's return. From the HDM article it sounds like our new boss is in daily contact with the club which pleases me.

Not bothered about losing Sutcliffe. Played pretty well last season but has struggled this year (as have others). Definitely need more recruitment in the centre spots though.

Sutcliffe has been worse than average this year. Abdul a big risk for me a d I know nothing about the 2 fussiest but presume cartwright has approved these unless we've signed his son without his knowledge

What it showed is just how good Adam Swift was individually not the partnership with Sutcliffe

Think the plan will be to bring Litten through as a centre.

That was my thoughts.
He has been playing there for the reserves. Played full back for York I believe.

Not seen him but he's well thought of by all accounts. Had a couple of shoulder injuries which have probably prevented him making his debut

not at all, people saying hes highly rated and wanted to hear opinions as i knew of him from when he was in amateurs

Assuming he stays at the club and injury free, he has the ability to be our 13 for the next 10 years or so. Had he not missed part of the season through injury he'd have made his debut along with Wainhouse. Both are among the best forward prospects in England.

I think all things considered Walker is likely on his way there’s been rumours a while but as I said earlier I think people obsess a lot more in this country about pigeon holing players then they do in Aus and it might not necessarily mean he’s coming in as the starting fullback.

For a start he’s very much going to be a ‘project’ player, for perspective he’s not rated as highly as Hoy was who a had a lot more NRL experience but as we saw he was still far from the finished article. Also a lot of the modern athletic backs over there swap and change and slot in whatever position is needed or where the biggest contract is. Very little is known about him as he’s not played first grade and he can obviously play fullback but maybe Cartwright just see’s him as a raw talent he doesn’t want to miss out on rather then having any specific role in mind for him. I think one thing that’s pretty clear is he looks quick and I think everyone would agree that’s something we are going to need in the backline especially next season.
