| I'd say you have 3 reserved playing in Oakes, Cator and Wardill, the rest are all established SL players.
Enjoy the win Frankie, you are a better poster but you are starting to sound like a troll with your nonsense posts,

I could say exactly the same about you lately Dave they are reserves whether they’ve played SL or not the fact that if we’d had players available they wouldn’t have played the thing that struck me last night is when watching us play anyone else when the opposition team gets near our line I fear the worst we usually concede but the amount of repeat sets you had last night you didn’t look like scoring with ball in hand and why you didn’t use your winger near the line to crash over is a mystery he makes yards every time he has the ball

Give me examples where I have acted like a troll?
Which ones apart from the ones named are reserves, which is weird term considering you don't have a reserve team?
After we are poor near the line and it's an area that needs addressing

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |

| I'd say Rovers had 4 key players out in Vai Vai, McGuire, Lunt and MM, the rest are easily replaceable
Even then you managed to sign decent replacements for McGuire and Vai Vai.
It's a squad game now, most of those Rovers players will have played 20 games each by the end off the year, so talk of reserves is nonsense.

| Back to Hull, why play Manu in the middle, much better out wide.
Why bring on Harris when we were in control?

| Quote: Mild Rover "Much as we do have bigger battles ahead and were sensible to not take undue risks in selection, the 17 chosen had to try their best. At the cold extreme of logic we could have kicked off and stood aside while you ran up a world record score, to avoid injuries and suspensions, but nobody wants that. Would probably get bans for bringing the game into disrepute, if we had!
We’ve no game next weekend and we’ll hopefully have half a dozen or so available to come back in for the next game. Plus Masoe the week after and J. Carney not too long after.'"
I thought you played some great stuff in the first half, using your speed with kicks. As we pressured in the second half, the intensity increased, I found myself enthralled in the match, with a feeling of what if this was the million pound game, Rovers we’re out on their feet at the end, but the disciplinary panel with their usual eyes on all things Hull may yet play a part on the battles ahead for you, I didn’t expect you to stand aside ala Moses and the Red Sea, but only time will tell if Danny Tickle and Bobby have more outstanding performances left in them.

You can’t have it both ways Dave say it’s a squad game when it’s us and blame your poor season on injuries and on key players add Carney who gives us great go forward Shaw who’s top try scorer Tomkins and Hefferman you could even include Minns who scored a hat trick against you earlier in the season but I think we should agree to disagree on this

Frankie, talk about pot calling kettle, read your own post back.
As for being clueless near your line, your right, perhaps Connor, Kelly, and a fully fit Sneyd will atone for this.
Enjoy your victory it was deserved, try doing it with grace.

Agreed, not disputing the fact injuries have played a massive part on both teams, plus teams like Hudds, Catalans it's the term reserves which I don't agree.
As you say let's leave it there, you deserved your win and we need to be better for next season

| I thought both coaches made good points. Radford, that it was a typical derby, fast-paced with lots of effort, but a bit harum-scarum (i’m paraphrasing). Sheens, that the conditions suited us more, with an unfamiliar team - and in the first half especially we definitely handled them better imo.
Main positives for me was that our spirit looks good, and we had the odd moment of class - Hall’s tries and Carney’s 40-20. Main worry is that we still often have tacklers on the floor when the opposition ptb, having lost the collision.
For Hull, your purple patch was very purple, and Radford was right that there was no shortage of effort. On the downside, while you’re still a powerful team and we struggled to cope, you miss guys like Ellis and Watts, and cope we did - just about. And without Kelly and Connor your attacking play is predictable - as acknowledged by a lot of you.

You know I love you MR, but what sort of "bantz" is this? Throw some petrol on our bonfire of overreaction please, balanced analysis has its place but not here & now

| Just about managed to pull my head out my ass! We are just an awful team to watch , really poor basic skills , and our attacking structures are just dreadful , injuries no excuse for me , just really poor effort , I'm not convinced 2019 will be much different without any changes to personnel on and off the playing field
