| Quote: hullbg "We have already established that you stick an average player in a good side who are at the top of thier game (both of which Wigan are) they will look a lot better. Stick Hall in the Wigan team and his defence would not be shown up as badly as it is with us and he would score a lot more tries to boot.
Would that then make Hall a very good player?
Fielden will make a decent SQUAD player along the same lines that Radford and Dowes make decent SQUAD players.'"
Agreed, it's also interesing that the FANS of Wigan rate him, but it appears the coaching set up are prepared to let him leave.
So, in one breath EXPRO says the FANS of FC are wrong for not rating Agar (we should trust the coach), and in the next he says the COACH of Wigan has it wrong.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

How is that letting him leave?

| Does anyone actually know anything about Fielden signing? I've now got 3 Fielden avatars (in varying states of undress) that I've used in response to the rumours over the seasons and it seems no more likely now that he will sign for FC than in the last couple of years. I think we should be told.

| Fuifui Moimoi, Jamie Peacock and now Fieldon. I think sometimes we comment and discuss rumour so much we almost forget there is no credibility to the rumour and convince ourselves it's happening. I chose the Moimoi and Peacock examples as I recall these rumours being discussed that much they were just about accepted as happening.

Props generally have their best years between 28-32, Fielden is the exception to the rule, although who is better that's available?
LMS would certainly be my preferred choice, but he's changed his mind more than a woman and now looks certain for Saints.

I think fielden would be an OK signing at the right price, trouble is I reckon he's likely to be fairly costly. I'd rather we moved lauaki up to prop and used the money to strengthen the backs. If our close season signings are murphy, fielden and a back up half as has been suggested, then I still don't think we have enough depth in the backs

He's been seen out and about at a few SL clubs and is probably going to auction himself off to the highest bidder, so yeah, i agree it would be an inflated price.

If LMS is a no go, i agree 100%. Lauaki has always been a prop IMO, his good hands could be a real asset in the front row.
Quote: Jake the Peg "If our close season signings are murphy, fielden and a back up half as has been suggested, then I still don't think we have enough depth in the backs'" well, they certainly aren't going to shift season passes!

| I spoke to a moderator off this forum last week, and he said that Hull had spoken to Fielden but were not to sure about his mental state. What that means i'm not sure.
I think he's way past his best and gets man handled to easily these days when playing the likes of Saints, Leeds, Warrington ect who target it him.

[quote="Wellsy13":1juz9zgo]To us REAL fans, there's no better feeling than winning competitions. Getting to a final is next. Then a top 6 finish or semi-final appearance. Then I suppose the derby counts as the most important league fixture.
Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.
Quite sad, really! [/quote:1juz9zgo]

Actually Wigan have offered him a very nice deal Standee so that means in fact the coaching staff of Wigan see him as a very good player, however they are also looking at heafty wage increases based upon their incoming signings hence they have allowed a number of on and off contract players to have a look outside if they so wish ...
Hey but thanks for mentioning me especially again
