| Quote Rock God X="Rock God X"Out of order is collecting your salary every month without putting in any effort whatsoever to warrant it. Out of order is expecting fans, most of whom earn far less than the players, to shell out their hard-earned money every week to watch so-called professionals toss it off and then expecting them to just accept that lack of effort without comment.
A little sarcastic cheering by way of protest isn't even close.'"
Spot on. Agar has shot himself in the foot big time by slagging off the fans.

| Why a heavy defeat ?
A loss is a loss if its 1 point or ten.
Its the manner of defeat that matters, or win for some people.
A below par, low on confidence Hull team earn a scrappy win and people call for his head.
Rule and gang need to speak up in his defence or get shut asap to avoid it dragging on and reducing our chances of recruiting another coach.

| I have never booed FC. Also, I often applaud an opposition try but I thought the reaction to Celtic's try was OTT. Similar happened with Salford in the cup and they went on to beat us. Thankfully the lads just ignored the crowd and got on with their job on Friday night.
There were some positives to be taken from the game, and let's forget for a moment that "we should be slaughtering teams at the bottom of the table" becasue (a) we have been poor ourselves this season so we are also near the bottom and (b) each team is capable of beating any other this year.
Positives for me (it's soooooooo easy to be negative):
(a) Although we spilled the ball too often we never capitulated - nilled Celtic in the first half and only let one try in although they had had numerous multiple sets throughout the match. We haven't seen that very often this year.
(b) Some great tries at the end - including winger tries from passes (yes, I know Yeaman wasn't playing but I still think that we would have been better with him at centre)
(c) Hall played well (from the start) and defended well.
(d) Tansey fitted in well and played well after only one week with the team
(e) Richard Horne's defense was much better than it has been
(f) Agar picked the team (apart from loose man) that many had been calling for.
(g) the interchanges were much better than previously
(h) Sam Moa was excellent making real inroads at good pace.
(i) although Berrigan dropped a couple of howlers (bad passes etc) he picked some great holes in Celtic's defense and defended well himself.
(j) Hall's try was in a third consecutive set after two drop-outs. We have rarely forced that position this year and managed to score - certainly breaking the defence down from hand rather than from a kick.

| And another message to Agar;
The majority of fans will have a job after 2010, can you say the same?

| Quote Jake the Peg="Jake the Peg"Cheeky c unt has no right to go on record with this
"Richard Agar has castigated Hull FC fans for mocking his team in their 22-6 win over the Celtic Crusaders on Friday night"

But he didn't really "castigate" did he? Nor did he "hit(s) back at critical Hull fans". He actually asked for our "help" (or support). What he said was:
I don't think it's helping, we've got a nervous team that's low on confidence and you can probably see it's not helping. It's there for all to see.
"We're frustrated, we're all frustrated and it's a tough time but there are reasons and very mitigating factors behind that. We are underperforming but it's at times like this we need the crowd's help more than ever."
Now you tell me would it "help" if your boss or workmates or customers booed you if you had a few bad days in the office?

He also said....... "without doubt it has a pretty detrimental effect on the team". So there is no doubt in his mind that the fans are causing the team to play poorly. Nothing to do with the players or his tactics then.

One of the main issues i had on Friday was the lack of any attacking structure, but hey i shouldn't have been suprised as it's the story of Agar's stewerdship. I didn't expect us to rack up 40 points against them, i did expect us to look interested and threatning going forwards....we only did that in the last 20 minutes. I wouldn't have been so narked off as i was if we had created some chances...we looked totally inept.
And as a guy said to me if this is what their reaction is to the Cas hammering god helps us......how true!

Hey look - that's why this is such a great country - free thought, free speech. We're all perfectly entitled to have our own opinions and voice/publish them.
I personally interpret this as not "cause and effect" but exacerbating the position that currently exixts (for whatever reason - be it crap coaching or something else).

No it wouldn't help. Agar is the players' boss, and he publicly slated them for a lack of comitment last week (and has complained about them previously) - does that help?
The fans were doing what Agar himself has already done. If the fans are wrong to do that, then so is our coach.
