| Is Holmes anywhere near being ready to play? With Cartwright out again, we could really do with an actual second rower rather than having Fash/Chamberlain playing there

Also Carty said the clock in the ground wasn't working so no one knew how long was left. Plus made it hard for Subs as well.
It didn't do much for my nerve endings either in the last few minutes! I'm getting too old for this kind of malarkey!!! PS Hope you and your old man are all good mate?

| Always annoys me when posters are rude about grafting players who put themselves on the line. I’m thinking of Chamberlain who was great last night and Fash whose defence was great. These sort of players aren’t flashy though great try from the former but are vital cogs as evidenced last night. It’s a squad game and they can’t all be Sezers

| Remember he’s only young and will get better. Do prefer Ratana at FB. He was under intense pressure. I wish didn’t go sidewards and he needs to work on his passing game but these will improve

| I don’t think criticism of Chamberlain and Moy are warranted. Moy will come really good. The former proved his worth. Fash was great too. These are players copping it at the minute. Fash was iffy last season in the context of crapness but he is so valuable in a squad game. I don’t like the rudeness of some posts on players who are very brave and committed to the cause. Good for them to prove folk wrong. There seems to be a culture of criticism nowadays hopefully JC counters this behind the scenes. At the moment Fash, Chamberlain and Moy are priceless. Praise to all of them for last night. It’s a profession to them and they are at a high level and they gave me for one a great night and I will dine on it until our next defeat

| That situation with the clock was a disgrace it should never have happened Rl regulations state it has to have an independent electric supply to ensure it doesn’t go off. Apparently Wakefields was connected independently to a substation in west London

Fash outstanding in defence saved a few try’s and Chamberlain great try and turn of pace I didn’t realise he had. Herman and Kinght two great shifts, All hail Sezer what another match winning performance. On high we’ve got our club back.
Watched the game late last night after I got back from work. I thought Fash had one of his best games for us last night, he really was hitting hard in defence. I thought Wakeys defensive line speed was very good and we struggled at times with our go forward .

| Dave K.:
Cartwright is NRL standard and would be playing there if it wasn't for injuries.
Very good second row is Cartwright and it shows how much we miss him when is out injured The club has a huge dilemma with him being off contract end of the season as it looks like he his going to be a player who plays three or four games then is out injured for three or four games. Is that regular injury concern enough not to extend his contract? As i said huge dilemma for the club and his dad as coach as Cartwright is a quality second row when on the field

Fash played well also at Wigan with some great defence All clubs needs players like Fash who are back ups when needed

Of course everyone has an opinion but some can be quite offensive and Trumpesque. Eg he’s stealing a wage or he’s useless. Even last season I didn’t think that of any player and if I did it would be bloody tactless to say it. I guess you’re not in the diplomatic corps. I think these forums can be interpreted as venues where common courtesies are not required. There’s criticism and there’s abuse -thankfully the latter is rareNow that’s off my chest I’ll feel better. A few defeats and Cartwright will suddenly be the worst coach in the world. Any road nice to see some generous comments about Fash. He has withstood last seasons wrath and proved his worth. I hope this continues for Chamberlain and Moy can sustain his confidence despite a couple of errors last night. I think the combination of the experienced players and the youth has been more fruitful than I expected. More praise to Myler. Shall we be nice to Grix too who copped a bit last season? He’s still part of the staff and part of the resurgence. Looking forward to the Cas game and again to marvel at the athleticism and bravery of those who choose this sport as their profession to entertain us.
