| Wouldn't be surprised to see Justin Holbrook back at Saints.

| Interesting quote from savellio that it's the first time in years everyone in the club has each others back, good to see the culture Tony Smith has brought into the club, savellio is a prime example of that, gone from being dropped and out of the team to being man of the match. Great team performance! Get in

| Could single every player put of that performance for a special mention. A few really stood out in particular, but think Shaul should get big raps. Only played 1 previous game in god knows how long and he's come back in and been safe as houses at the back. Spent the full game barking out the orders in defence and it paid off (a very underrated part of a full backs job). Tirelessly ran from dummy half to make some hard yards. Was sceptical when he was named tonight but thought he showed up really well.

| Fantastic performance!
Tireless in defence and clinic in attack. While we struggled a bit with yardage at times we made the most of any territory we got.
I bet Walmsley is sick of the sight of Fash round his ankles
Felt Saints paid the price for not rotating their team, they looked leggy from minute one.
It was nice to get a fair amount of the penalty count too.

| Clifford is a genuine player, he wont be around for long but hopefully we can keep him for his contract at least. Him coming in tonight was far bigger on the game then the 5 or 6 that didnt play. Not many players can have that effect. I genuinley believe we can score every time he has the ball in his hands. The way he reads the game in defence is amazing too.

| When Alex Walmsley retires, I think he'll look back on his career and pick out Brad Fash as one of his toughest opponents. Brad seems to have Walmsley in his back pocket.

| Wow just wow what a performance, never expected a win with the team put out tonight. One missed tackle on Hurrell was the only time they really broke us to score.
1 to 17 were outstanding and they out worked and enthused St’s and TS out coached them.
Don’t want to single players out but have to say I thought Fash, Ligi, Cator, Houghton & Dre were outstanding tonight their work rate and discipline was unrelenting along with McIntosh.
One of the best and most complete 80mins I’ve seen for a long time and thoroughly enjoy the rugby we are now playing under TS.
Also amazing what difference an even handed ref makes.

If we can build him a proper pack for next year then him and Trueman have the potential to be devastating.
Shout out to Houghton who once again had a great game. Really rolling back the years atm.

| For me the middles of Houghton, Fash, Cator and Ligi were our best in a great team performance, where you can't knock anyone.

| A word too to the Coach because many on here and me included anticipated a drubbing when the team was announced because we are Fc fans and we have seen it so often before. But tonight on a short turn around, everyone knew their job slotted in seamlessly and played their hearts out. Smith is a truly talented bloke and as Savelio said it's the first time for a long time that everyone is on board and looking after everyone else's back. They are a close group and stick up for each other. The Coach takes no rubbish but is fair just look at Savelio out on his ear to Man of the match all down to a no nonsencse administration that treats everyone fairly and takes no crap. That's a Culture thing and one that has never been around our team whilst Coaches have had favourites and their pals getting automatic selection, with clicks and an in crowd, with the others out of it and alienated. Which there is no doubt has happened. This guy is brilliant and long may he stay at Hull FC. Loved it and congratulations to everyone

The thing that winds me up with Walmsley is literally every single tackle he has started resorting to throwing his ball carrying arm in the air trying to milk a set restart as if he was trapped in. He'd be more devastating than he already is (unless he's running at Fash) if he just concentrated on a quick play the ball.

| Tony Smith is the best bit of recruitment we've made in years.
That team had no right to win, but we bossed Saints.
