A little optimism and look back at our history please.
Our golden periods come in 30 year cycles. 1920's, 1950's, 1980's and now success in the present decade. A GF win is definitely on the cards.

| Very solid performance against a weakened but still very handy Cas side. Some excellent efforts individually but very well done to the team as a whole.
That's 2 from 2, just need to carry on with the knockout/cup winning mentality, do or die in every game.
We CAN do this!

Ignore [iit[/i is what the mods and others tell you, [iit[/i was caught out several times being ultra negative writing the team off as early as 20minutes into a game (and yet criticised others for same), no faith in the team or coach. However the attention seeking troll writes it virtually every week when we were under the cosh/bit of pressure. However it's supposedly to get a rise/bait from other posters to respond, this even admitted by the mods but they fail to curb such.

| We went there last night with a WIN ONLY mindset.
We did what we had to do and we did it very well.
The seasons goal is back in focus.

| Very professional performance, think it was 100% completion rate in the first half and didn't panic even when they had a go just after HT.
Forwards were massive particularly the starting two props and should class by our backs.
Big raps for Walmsley this week, but I wouldn't swap him for either of our starting props.
Watts has to be in the England squad.

Agree with this, thought both our halves were very good too. On props Watts and Taylor were magnificent. 157 metres and 139 respectively. Outstanding. Who knows where Walmsley might end up for 2019?

Possibly the only error in that first half was Houghton's knock on over the line (which could have gone either way anyway). We made 8 errors in the match, and some of those can hardly be described as errors (Shaul jumping above Eden to try to palm it back but it went forward etc.). Really excellent ball retention in those conditions considering how we usually perform when it's wet.

Nice one. I think I've been to every one of our decade of defeats at Headingley however, and Leeds are in great form, so think we are a long shot to even make the GF. But great to be in the semi finals when the likes of Wigan and Warrington haven't been able to make it, especially with the CC already secured.

Completely agree; driving over in the rain I thought we would struggle with handling. In the event both sides held the ball pretty well. Our pack was excellent last night. More special efforts from Shaul as well, he's scored some superb tries this year.

Got mugged with the 40-20. How did the touch judge miss that?'"
He even misses his appointments at spec savers.

| Great credit to all the players last night, but Ellis was like a man possessed in both his spells - particularly when he came on in the second half. For me Ellis, Watts and Taylor completed changed the balance of momentum in that second half. When Cas scored their two tries to pull it back to 12 points difference we started to look a bit flat, but the three above swung the game back in our favour. I would say the intensity and intent last night was as good, if not better, than Wembley.
Roll on next Friday!

I think one thing we can guarantee is that Ellis won't be leaving anything in the tank over the remaining games.

| Watts as to be the best prop in the comp, amazes me how little recognition he gets from SKY team, the same team that cream over mcshane every time we play them, which is strange when we've dominated them 3 times this year and one very close game . Houghton always as the better of Mcshane, yet its Mcshane MUST get an england call up!
