Not at all, racism isn't OK but alcohol makes people act very differently (as does frustration), it isn't in the place of an individual to complain on someone elses' behalf, I doubt very much Kelly a)heard it and b)gave a jot if he did.

It's a complete overreaction to an admittedly horrible incident, but a life ban and a "good kicking" is mob justice.

I never said it was OK, just letting people know the guy is horrified at what he said and is sorry. Part of my family are black and if one of them was on another planet due to drink and called me a white B****** I doubt I would want him to be kicked into a wheelchair.

Nah, that was lynching black boys for smiling at white women or stealing a bird from the chicken coop.

As ever, it's opinions, my own view is its an overreaction to want the guy banned. Let's hope Kelly has a stormer again today and shuts any abusive fans up.

Stunned what I'm reading. If kelly played for Cas and was racially abused by a fan, I would want said fan banned. I don't think that's an over reaction.

This. Not sure how you can properly investigate and conclude any review in 5 working days, and it wouldn't be appropriate to share the specific details with other individuals anyway. If reviewed and found guilty there should be serious consequences.

I'm pretty sure that the club don't have to resort to the legal justice system to ban someone they don;t want to attend matches

The club has the right to refuse entry to someone who breaks the rules.

A life time ban is harsh because a person should be given the chance to mend their ways. I know racists who have gotten over their ignorance. People aren't born racisist and they don't have to stay that way forever.
