IMO there will be a lot going on behind closed doors. The club might be keeping any signings close to there chests and just let the rumour mill spin away

I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't sign anyone else before the start of the season.

Sure if an exceptional player such as Carney becomes available you have to try to get him but there is no point in signing average players just to make up the numbers.

It may be that a very good player becomes available during the season and it would be good to have the cap space to be able to make a move for him.

BJB, Chase and whoever else we are linked with all seems to be coming from us fans. And as said above, the club isn't likely to address these rumours because they rarely do.

In a nutshell. And I don't think BJB fitted the "exceptional" category, good player though he undoubtedly is.

Some on the RU forums think he'll be next . A few issues off the pitch ? & snubbed by England . I think he plays centre for Bath also , Not sure on the differences of the centre positions within both codes , I don't think I can remember him playing centre in league before his move south .

eastmond will be on an absolute wedge in union. Only way he's coming back is if leeds, saints or wire make him their marquee player and leeds don't need any centres
