| Was Monaghan's try a double movement? All that drop goal drama was unnecessary if so.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |

Even Stretch Armstrong would have struggled.

He was oblivious to the fact the Monaghan was steaming up behind. Poor.

Id say pace is the least of yeamans worries, the guy cannot pass the ball, wether he wants to or not is another story... and that for me, says a great deal about him...get rid, the mans a dinosaur, and trying to bulldozer your way through top defenders wont cut it nowadays ..... no skill, hence the buldozing since his debut

add to that Have you ever seen Yeaman jump for a ball when kicked to the corner? He hides and always leaves it to others.
Its another reason he should be dropped.God knows what he has on Radford

100% a double movement, but never mind, it's easy when you get a replay to watch, but it all happens very quickly.

He should have dealt with it before the ball bounced.he should have made the effort to catch it instead of ball watching.
he never gets involved when a high ball is kicked his way when there is a possibility to jump and catch the ball..Always passes to buck to someone else

looked to me that the officials were only interested to see if the ball was grounded correctly which it was.

I'm far from a Yeaman fan, but I can't really agree with this. He's not very tall and its not his job, he's there to provide a bit of protection for his winger. It's kind of like blaming Liam Watts for our below par kicking game.
There are plenty of deficiencies in Yeaman's game without making things up.
In this instance I think had he really busted a gut he could have taken it on the full, but it's hard to criticise because I probably would have done the same and just tried to shield it out of play. He got a stinking bounce. The real crime on that try was allowing the second kick to come in at all. At soon as Ratchford caught the first one he should have been flattened.

Yeaman's a centre, it's his job to block the path of oncoming players whilst the winger catches the ball.
The one on Sunday Yeamo should have committed to the ball and took it out, instead he stood back and relied on the bounce of the ball and paid for it.
But who cares, we won!

| Amazes me how some supporters constantly bag Yeaman. Personally I think it would be better if we treated all players' contributions with equal objectivity.
Seems incredible how some are dissecting how he dealt with the difficult bounce from a kick, when any fault was marginal at worst, whilst no one mentions how one of our wingers handed Warrington two tries on a plate through appalling defence, where there was nothing debateable about it at all.
Aside from his efforts in defence, I wonder if said winger is a better character and professional than Yeaman?
