No surprises after it was becoming clearer the injury was worse than expected, tough luck as he was showing good form and injury came only minutes before end of the Salford game. Important that we get positive news on Ben Crooks now.... |

I'd feel a lot happier if it was down to Horne, Yeaman and Crooks for the two centre spots.

Just thought the same, dreadful luck that lad. Doesn't seem to be a common opinion on here but I rate him and think he and Crooks could be a long-term centre partnership for us. Has a few defensive lapses but really excellent footwork at times. |

I love speculation as much as the next man, but people on Twitter are claiming they know the team already ![]()
I agree, I was just pointing out perhaps why people are more open to Crooks coming back in than Horne (at fullback). If Shaul had an injury doubt over him I'm pretty sure it would be a similar story, but seeing as he's (as far as we know) got a clean bill of health it's an entirely different situation.

Crooks has trained this week. Did jumping and wrestling first think on Tuesday then joined in with the team on Tuesday. He has been icing the ankle every night too and will be fine for saturday
