Think we should have really been aiming to win that taking into account the injuries on both sides...
Lacking in any real creativity with ball in hand.
Think we'll probably emulate last seasons 6th place finish/ish.
We are middle of the road SL team.'"
Disagree with that, was actually arguing with somebody on the way back to the car about the same thing. We were missing pretty much exactly the same as they were, and they were better than us to start with.

I think lineham is a massive prospect for the future but dont think hes quite ready yet the sooner crooks is back the beter along with holdsworth and get heremaia back in tandem with houghton'"
amd how far do you go with the advantage rule? the ratchford kick through seemed very strange! but i thought bentham gave some favourable calls to his home town team, but like yourself will have to watch again

| No shock that Holdsworth has concussion, he took a few late cheap shots last week. Surprised it wasn't mentioned much.
I thought we competed much better than against Leeds, when to he honest we were clinging on even at 6-6. Tonight I thought we were the better team in the first half (just) and we didn't give in at the end. If we'd had a little bit of luck it could have been a different result.
Disappointed we lost, but with several players returning soon I still think we could make top 4

| Crooks is the better all round winger at the minute, but Lineham is certainly the one with more potential. The problem is that we don't have an experienced centre to play inside and help him develop. I'd hope that if Briscoe does leave Tom is moved to the left. Only problem then is he won't see no ball!!

He played well for us in attack, no surprise he would continue doing it for you guys, doubt the coaching has anything to do with it.

McDonnell has been our best player so far this season, looked comfortable under the high ball again.
I'm not sure of the good coaching bit.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |

| Quote: Rupert Pupkin "Yes, love it, another future international. Any young kid who makes the FC first team line up seems to be a future international on here.
Anyhow, FC performed very well for 60 mins, looked very comfortable in defence but lacked a little creativity in attack. McDonell(sp) had a very good game and was IMO your MOTM. Come 60 mins when Wire got on top your forwards looked shattered and they blasted there way through with ease down the middle. Lineham showed up well along with Crooks who came up against an experienced quality pair, makes me wonder why Arundel and Crookes(sp) where brought in to be first choie.'"
Its not a case of rose tinted glasses, Lineham can be as good as he wants to be. Hes still got alot to learn but if theres a better athlete playing Superleague then I havnt seen him

seriously, clever play by ratchford then knowing he would get the ball back regardless, though i still think once that kick was put in, advantage over as he didnt knock on or do a foward pass!

That's your perogative.
I think it was a great opportunity to take the two points.
Confident it was going to happen at half-time, but we were poor in the second half.

It was a good chance, but I just still wouldn't have had us down as favourites. Not once we lost Holdsworth, anyway.
Was disappointed with the second half, but we really weren't helped by Warrington having so much possession, and at times through poor decisions by the officials.

| Not to worried to be fair. Don't get the forward worries from people suddenly. Watch 1st half again. Made much better yardage. Lost a bit 2nd after a million tackles but expected. Watts and lynch start ogre off bench will bring impact with Johnston, green or Pitts backing up when all fit.
Gentle wrong to put Aaron at 7. Played at 6really, but been one of our best most effective players as a hooker and a genuine game changing player rendered ineffective.
Shannon mac gonna be great on dry tracks, especially when watts back with his off load.
Personally people are talkin rubbish I think with regard to the mutterings about Briscoe-heads not in it etc. Didn't take long for that to start. He had an average game, would have struggled to stand out with what he had and not much to be done with kicks landed on your head when kickers not pressured and can do what they want.
Lineham good, few errors but star going forward. Jason crooks was good too though before injury, be a waste for either to be sat on sidelines. Ben crooks worries me. Positioning and defence in general. Really needs some kgs on his frame.
Full strength or close were top 4,to 6 a lot of teams supposedly better than us would have got destroyed under the weight of possession of wire tonight. We rode out the storm of early 2nd half and 1st time had ball played like mad men when should of controlled it to turn momentum and lost ball on 2nd tackle. Hurt ourselves then bit of bad luck. An obvious ball loss in build up to a try, and a failed intercept against tickle when to be fair it was thrown at him on last tackle when we'd controlled the set, again resulted in a try.
Not down about tonight at all really, can see when we move ball we ain't bad. Good chance to get some wins and momentum in next few weeks.

| Good effort from Hull tonight.
Matched Wire first half - second half they got on top and finally pressure told.
They're favourites for the comp and the team didn't capitulate like they did vs Leeds.
Some weird decisions from bentham against Hull too

Disappointed he wasn't used in attack more, we rarely put on a set move. Seemed that without Holdsworth he couldn't link in.
