Hull had a look at Shenton, until they saw that he was on 120k. They said they would look again if he would consider accepting 60k. We dont need another centre, with Arundel coming in, Crooks looks like he can make the grade at S.L level.

Crooks has a big chance over the next few games to prove that he is capable of being a first choice centre next season.
If he isn't ready we have the options of either looking at a long-term prospect (such as Arundel) or getting an older 'big name' from the NRL and hope Crooks makes it in a year or two's time. |
