Dunno about Hull, but you see it quite often in sport. Teams start underperforming, fans get restless, gates drop or fans protest (booing, banners, whatever) and the board sack the coach.

If he believes that our chances of success over the course of the season (and beyond) will be improved by Agar going, and he believes that a few losses will achieve that, then the two can be reconciled without any difficulty. You might think he's totally misguided, but it's easy to see where he's coming from.'"
Which was the explanation he came up with and with which I disagreed. I doubt the two of us will change our positions anytime soon.

So Webbo/Lasty would be better? On what basis?'"
Come on Paul. If you believe that the club would think they can replace Agar with a like for like, then that (imho) is dumb thinking.
They will know that they have played the 'loyalty card' for far to long in regards the coach appointments. They may bring them in on a caretaker role, but they will know the fans expect them to deliver far better then what we have had.

Surely it's cheaper not to go to a game when you factor in beer/food/transport.
Don't go again this season and it will save you a fortune

| It is a concerted effort by the club to nip any protest off at the bud, too late and its not a this season thing. I have had severe reservations about Rich Agar for the last two seasons, since the way he subsituted Thorman away at Castleford. The fans are not stupid they know only too well when something or in this case someone is not right, they will make there voices heard. This has very little to do with this years perfomances in isolation, this is a bad run stretching back into last season. The club has to remember we have memories, we have every right to voice our opinions and we have every right to stay away. At the end of the day falling reciepts at the gate or the shop will hurt the club and they will either ignore the fans or respond.
We have been fed a diet of spin for years and club have run out of manouvering room, they have been sussed out by too many now. They will have no choice, but to sack Rich Agar as this pressure increases or they will risk alienating many more fans.
We have not reached that point yet, but it is approaching a point where every week will see more and more fans tire of the situation and drift away. This is when the board comes under threat as the longer this goes on the more distant and remote the board will appear. There position is currently not under threat, this will not remain the case if this drags on and on.

Knock out footie a great leveller?
How many times has a team finishing outside the top 2 won the GF?

Depends who's logged on I think

The club have done it before, do you honestly think they will be saying 'we need a top class coach to appease the fans', now that would be dumb thinking imo.
I would not look past Macca.
