I rate Tansey and think he has been great for us but if he has overstepped them mark again then I would back Agar if he choose to sack him.

The problem is our squad is already two players short and this would be a third and also one of our best haflback cover players.

Not on here to troll but Wigan have loaned out two players to Harlequins, isn't this something that could get you through until someone becomes available mid-season? Karl Pryce could have done a good job for you at centre while Whiting stakes his claims to the full back jersey.

Halfbacks of any worth will be hard to come by at this stage of the season especially without using a quota place for one, so the only real option is to go grab someone from abroad on a one year with an option of a second year just to see how they go. Dobbo wasn't first choice at the Raiders but he was at Wigan, Catalans and now us. Green wasn't a regular half over there but from what I saw against Salford he's the makings of a SL star signing. You don't have to sign amazing players already but from outside looking in, Kath and James will only release the funds for an out and out big name, this IMO is why you are struggling to find anyone at the moment.

We tried bit I think the rules are tougher now, as the player we wanted couldn't get a Visa or work permit. Also I think we have somone lined up for 2012 as Agar doesn't want to sign anyone on more than a one year deal and that is hard to do.

Berrigans wage alone would entice a half decent stand off from Aus to come over for a season, this wouldn't break your cap because his wage was factored in to 2011 already. There are players out there that are able to come here easily, as I say, they are not household names so the board won't touch them. Some gems can be found among rocks!!!

This is why a couple of loan deals would be ideal. I'm with you, I now would take a shot at Moore given Nicklas' injury. Phelps has been all but begging for a job on Twitter, and I'm sure he told a Hull fan to "have a word with Rich" for him on there.
But a loan deal for an outside back is needed imo. Especially if Tansey goes.

Well as Hulls best player, a test career longer than Mick Vellas left leg and a faultless reputation earns a handsome 6 figure sum in this day and age. Not sure which NRL half back would come for a season but like I say as their season kicks off some will be thrust into reserve grade action and not be happy. Can Hull wait for those players to come available? Could those players be found early enough to maybe get an idea if they'd be interested. Would an NRL club be willing to loan a player on a season long basis?

If Rovers were in your situation I'd personally be a tad worried that (if true) the half back cover we had has just been sacked and the other players are having to slot into positions they just havent been training to play in.

How has Turner looked at 6? Saw him in a Salford academy side a couple of years back just after he'd signed for you and got dropped because of it and thought he looked uninterested (as you would) and had nothing to offer. His centre performances for you have never stood out as far as I have seen so just wondering if you think he could do the job for just one year?
