I'd watch the game again mate (if you can bare to).
Hall's positonal play is ordinary at times but he continually gets left exposed and against the most lethal finisher in SL its got magnified today. Leeds pulled Hull all over the park today because they dominated Hulls pack, got tons of momentum and offloaded at will. There were holes galore on the edges for them to exploit and they did.

Thank feck for that - I thought it was just me and the missus who could see what was happening.

| Pack was dominated, right hand side of defence is embarrassing and we play like strangers every week, how the hell Agar keeps avoiding a P45 I’ll never know! His team, his game plan, his responsibility. Sick to the back teeth of hearing his lame interviews, no doubt he has a place in RL but not as head coach in SL – way out of his depth.

| I'm not even sure he has a place in RL to be honest. Every thing I've seen of him proves that he's just out of his depth, the national leagues are too good for him, in fact would any of the national conference teams employ him?

You're probably right, I stand corrected.

[quote="Wellsy13":1juz9zgo]To us REAL fans, there's no better feeling than winning competitions. Getting to a final is next. Then a top 6 finish or semi-final appearance. Then I suppose the derby counts as the most important league fixture.
Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.
Quite sad, really! [/quote:1juz9zgo]
SPOT ON!

I agree, people can blame the coach all they want but if players can't tackle or wrap the man up the team will get ripped to shreds. We lost today because the forwards couldn't control the speed of the ruck and Leeds got quick PTB time and time again and we can't afford to do that, combine that with the unforced errors (Tansey and Briscoe especially) and stupid penalties at crucial times and it's easy to see why we lost.

But this is Agars team, he wanted to be judged on this seasons performances - he is niave. Two weeks on the trot and he didn't learn, he is not a SL coach.

If it was only today, I would not argue with you. Unfortunately it hasn't just been today but virtually every time he has played on the right wing. I admire Hall's attacking capabilities as a centre, I am one of his defenders on here. He is a pure centre, not a quick second-row like Yeaman or Senior, he is an intelligent, attacking centre.
Unfortunately he has defensive frailties. Now you could argue that good coaching should cover those frailties, unfortunately a lack of effective tackling technique will leave him even more exposed on the wing.

Hall could be an absolute star with good coaching, but he sure as hell won't get any here - not for the next two and half years anyway.

Exactly. The way we should have lined up yesterday was Briscoe, Hall, Yeaman , Whiting.
Hall would have been more of a threat going forward and only have the pudding Delaney to mark in attack, Yeaman would have kept Senior under more of a reign.
Mind you all of this would have been a lot easier if the middle was tigtened up and us not jumping off the tackle witihin 2 seconds
