it's called reading between the lines on Agars words. Do you think Agar would admit that he's a carp coach?

But you implied that the reason Agar had selected Moore as assistant was really because he knew was cr@p himself ? I suggest it was probably because like any coach he wanted the best assistant he could get and after assessing the available options and listening to recommendations he chose Moore.

The one thing that all the players who have signed have mentioned is Agar's vision and enthusiasm as a key factor for wanting to sign for Hull. Maybe if he's got a good assistant with a seniority to match, he can take a little more of a backseat and think big picture about the vision for the season and communicate that to the players. Maybe it means agar will be the strategy man whereas moore will be in charge of tactics- doubt it though!

Exactly why this bloke's been given a year. He'll be given a head coach contract in 2011.

I was talking to a relation down under and he described Moore has an excellent coach who is very well known and respected in Austrailia.Infact he said we have a top super league coach in the making and was very suprised he was not already a 1st grade coach in the NRL.He also told me in his opinion that he is 10 times the coach and person Peter sharp ever was.He sounds just like the coach we need to take us back to the top and will be a breath of fresh air.Welcome aboard Dennis.

Maybe Agar is one of them people who has loads of good ideas and ambitions but doesn't have all the answers to put them into place.
This is where the old saying two heads are better than one.
He certainly knows how to convince players on his ambitions for the club so lets hope with the help of an experienced old head on board that the right answers can be found.
