Please don't tell me Andy Last!?!?!?!'"
Well it would seem the natural choice.
In some ways, I'm quite pleased. Hull FC seem to be finally dumping the showmanship and are finally getting back to grass roots which has always done us proud in the past.

| I want to wish Richard all the very best. With an appointment from within we have someone who 'Gets' what Hull FC is, and what it means to us supporters. He'll also know what a load of miserable beggers some of us are.
Onwards and upwards chaps, it's the only way to go!

| I, like many others, have to admit to being slightly under whelmed about RA's appointment. Nonetheless, he gets my 100% backing so best of luck Richard.
As regards RA's assistant, I would like to see someone appointed who has a full copy of the coaching manual. It seems that when Bomber left he took the page that covered dummy runners. I don't think JK or PS noticed it was missing.

We are not talking about West Hull or Skirlaugh here, we are talking about Hull FC for christ sake. How can Andy Last be an assistant coach at a top club so early in his career?!? I'd ask a similar question about Agar!
I have nothing against Rich or Andy, i wish them both well, i'm just truly concerned at the lack of experience both of them have in their new roles (if Lasty is the assistant). If anything i'd rather have an 'older head' for Richard Agar to be able to go to for advice etc.
I'd also like to add what the hell has this "young british coach" e got to do with anything? Since when does nationality come into when coaching an RL team effectively? Surely you look for the best option available at that time regardless of ethnicity!

Anyone else got any more pieces for this jigsaw

Agar appointment for me is underwhelming, Last as his number 2 would be suicide! Who'll coach the under 21s if Last gets the job, Arlie Bird?'"
He'll be cheep!!

Err correct me if i'm wrong but Cummings and Lowes played a fair few more games than Lasty - therefore a little more experience. Additionally both have been assistant to either an experienced 1st team coach or international coach - none of which Agar is (at the moment).
The point(s) i'm trying to make are we are in danger of having little or no experience in the right positions at the club. Something that i believe isn't accpetable for a club our size.

Well said Wolfie.
Think are lot of people are really under estimating RA's ability and RL knowledge, top bloke, get behind him.

| Tremendous appointment !!
We have gone for the assistant of our two previous failed coaches...
You could not make it up, I would be looking for Jeremy Beadle hiding behind the bushes if the poor beggar hadnt carked it !
