| Yeaman runs good lines and is solid defensively. He'll be a big miss I reckon.

| Quote: Jake the Peg "Hope it isn't true as I don't fancy going into the derby with a very inexperienced 3/4 line.
For all his faults, yeaman can defend and is solid.
Agree he has been average so far this season but it also stretches back some time. Anyone know what his try scoring record has been pre and post cooke?'"
Pre Cooke (debut - end of 2006) - 114 Apps & 65 tries.
Post Cooke (2008 - end of 2012) - 114 Apps & 66 tries.
SL only.
Omitted 2007 on the basis that it's far too time consuming to separate pre and post Cooke.

| Some people on here really need to have a word with themselves, wishing a player injured is beyond the pale.
Yeamo has never given less than 100% for the club, he may not be a good ball handling centre but is solid in defence but runs good lines and can break a tackle. We could do a lot worse.

Agreed.
Not having a great season and all his testimonial events must be a distraction. We need his defensive attributes at the moment and besides out right hand attack ain't doing too bad........
As for lewis_hullfc comments that "I hope it's true that he's injured" - Beggers belief!!

at the end of the if hes injured most fc fans get what they want! someone to pass to briscoe and give us a bigger threat in attack if he isn't injured then i hope he gets better this season or gets dropped! and as for me hoping he is injured i didn't mean it like i posted it i wouldn't wish it on any player i was basically saying if hes injured its a good thing IMO for the team because i don't think gentle has the balls to drop yeamo but i can see we would be much better with a ball playing centre to play alongside briscoe and i think he would agree!! yeamo is in the team on past reputation and we aren't going to win things with players who would not for me get into another super league side barring the wooden spoon contenders but some people wont say it because there up his arris because he has his testimonial and hes from hull

| Technically even if yeamo out injured. I don't think whiting would move there. It would be Briscoe + Crooks and Arundel an Lineham.
Crooks i agree is a better ball handler but weaker in defense. Forgetting hudds for now. Against dobbins i'd want yeaman playing. IMO

| Will be missed. Very strong in defence. Always likes to score against the other ones as well.

Agreed.
IMO he is still our best option at centre. Arundle after being destroyed by most on here 3 weeks ago, is now a better option than Yeamon.........
Crooks has the potential to be, but not there yet.
Yeamon, yes, not the greatest centre and below average for ball handling and probably "rugby league brain". Above average defense. World class commitment, effort and professionalism.
I would have him in every week, maybe time to swap him over with crooks? Might mix it up a bit.

Well i reckon them stats pist on some bonfires,i wonder how many people who want Yeoman dropping will be moaning if our inexperienced centres have a nightmare against Hudds or Rovers,be careful what you wish for.

| Yeaman hasn't been in good form this year, but as usual there are some who go OTT or become revisionists claiming he's never been good (in much the same way as with Horne in the past few years). He's clearly a very good player and one of SLs best centres, just because he has a flaw in his game does not change that. Too many seem to see rating players as a 3 option multiple choice rather than the sliding scale it is, there's more than just world class, average, and crap.
As for not getting into other top sides, I personally think that when in his more typical level of form he'd probably get a regular game at every SL team barring Leeds and probably Warrington.
