I don't disagree that his positioning can be questionable and his performances appears to have gone down hill as have Manus imo, however I still think some posters are being particularly harsh on him recently when imo there are are a lot of others in the team whose performances are just as if not more woeful. Some posters talk as if he is absolutely shiite and he is most definitely not imo, put it this way I would sooner have Turner than Welham and as we know Welham is a knights player.

Also, Turners metres are bloated by the fact 2 break away tries account for 170 of them.

Don't really care, he's and has proved it since he's been here except for the odd purple patch of 2-3 games.
Metres are a daft stat to measure outside backs by anyway.

In fairness to Turner about his metres, his drives are usually pretty decent.

That is fair enough you are entitled to your opinion, however apart from his defensive positioning which I agree can be very questionable he makes good meters and only misses approx 10% of tackles compared to our other 20%, he makes more tackles, has decent hands & feeds his winger and is a strong lad, I fear you may be disappointed with our future if you call that poop.

Our judgements often affect what we see and don't see , I always think it is good to question what we see by checking out the evidence of what is actually happening
