The try when Atkins had Whiting on the outside wasn't even a lack of pace because he got hold of him, which was more frustrating.

I think if Westy had passed the ball for that try Monaghan would have intercepted I think, which would have got even more criticism!

If you get a top coach, he won't have Whiting in the side every week. Hull fans seem to appreciate his grafting, Jack-of-all-trades type stuff but ultimately he isn't the type of athlete required unless he can bulk up and do a job in the pack.

Agree now that his days on the wing should be over. As for bulking up ideally he would, but he runs the ball back on kick returns harder than some of our forwards do.

Just think yes last week he was outstanding but he isn't near our top 4 this year.
