Well before I was born then! I never went to the Boulevard, none of my family are Hull fans so was never taken as a kid, only started going in the mid 2000s. |

Intresting signing this one, Hull have done well this year finidng talented young players from other ares, Newton, Pearce, Mcglame and now Lineham.
I can't see how signing him means we have given up one Lyne.

I think we've been watching him for a while as I was told a couple of times last year we were after him, I assumed nothing had come of it when nothing was announced pre season.

Time will tell if Hull have done well I suppose. The club are certainly looking far and wide, possibly due to the competition from Rovers for lads n the Hull area, and credit on them for giving these lads a chance.
As I say, time will tell. With the exception of Briscoe & Houghton, the club has struggled to tun youth into first team regulars over the past few years. Plenty of lads have had a go and not been good enough, let's hope that starts to change.

I don't understand why so many pin their hopes on Lyne?
What if Lineham is better than Lyne?
IMO Lyne needs to bulk up. He has the pace but its far too easy for him to be bundled into touch due to his slight build.
