I dont mind the odd penalty here and there if it puts the opposition off but he has given away far too many needless penalties in the last 2 games which needs sorting out. Still think he will add a lot to the team but he just needs to learn when and where to use that aggression.

In Hame's defence he maybe wasnt in the right frame of mind for yesterdays game, personal reasons

He has held his hand up after the game to his teamates and will hopefully learn from it, you play as a team win and lose as a team

Quote: BlackNwhite "i cought a bit of argars interview after the game. Im sure agar was talking about lauaki but not 100% and he said...... he is a very emational guy and the guy is in the dressing room blaming himself. or somthing along them lines.

Im sure he will come good'"

That was Fitzy, mate. Agar said he kept apologising for missing the kick.

EDIT: Actually, second thoughts, I'm not sure if I'm thinking of Solomona for Warrington dropping the ball.

Swear filter? icon_wink.gif

He needs to channel hs aggression in the right manner or he will become a target for opposition players.

Agar also refused to lay the blame for the defeat at Epalahame Lauaki’s door after the substitute was guilty of conceding a couple of soft penalties – one of which saw him put on report for leading with the elbow in a tackle.

Agar added: “We have had a little word with him, but we didn’t really need to do that because he knew. He is pretty cut up about it but it is important he learns a lesson and we do as well. The game is hard enough without conceding those kinds of penalties. He’s an emotional guy and he’s upset but we will fix it up quickly.”

It would appear he is not to brought before the beaks this week rlhttps://www.therfl.co.uk/~therflc/home/news_item.php?id

So I would look to giving him a rest, HE IS TOO COSTLY TO USE and before long he is going to get sent off in a crucial match. A bit of discipline now could be better for him, FC and us long term.

Being sorry is too easy and he got very wound up by there home crowd around the dug out, leave him to continue by all means and he will end up getting a long ban.

Disagree Ian...he was the hero 2 weeks ago at Saints, he will always be a potential liability as will O'Meley they are aggressive players and was brought in for that.

We should take yesterday with a pinch of salt and see what happens over the next couple of games this will give us an idea if his discipline is a constant costly problem then we need to act imo

I like him. The archetypal loose cannon. In a team with Dowes, Radford and Cusack, how can there not be room for him?

he was only on the pitch for a few mins before he was tackled our guys had him on his back and were moving off him and he started to throwing punches before getting up to PTB went down hill from there. needless to say TJ just watched obliviously as doing something would require a spine which i'm pretty sure you have to trade in for your flags and radio before each game

Agreed - there are more hand wringers on here than in your average Government quango. If we look to blame Lauaki for the defeat then we are brushing over the main issues. Lauaki needs to be a bit more intelligent perhaps but not change his style.

It was the lack of speed they were moving at that caused the problem, but then again if you get a weak referee that allows it all game. I just hope for you lot that you don't get Ganson often.

Not sure if this is common knowledge and I don't wish to cover up for the guy but I know Hame's had a lot on his plate with his month old baby in hospital for pneumonia.

Not saying that's the reason he gave the penalties but I see on here the references to Hame being emotional and it got me wondering if he wasn't in the best frame of mind entering the match

In fairness that would effect anyone regardless of their job so certainly won't have helped him.
