Totally agree, I think this year is the best so far as it is a tight competition and as form hits/slumps/injuries affect teams the table can move very quickly.Plus the good weather and quicker pitches will improve some teams more than others.

| Why does everyone think that having it so anyone can beat anyone is the way forward? I have heard many people say this is the best SuperLeague so far because it is so close.
I would prefer a top 4 as there has been in the past. Where you have a couple of very hard games a season, incidently making them the best games to watch. Whats wrong with that? I don't really know how to express my point¬¬

Do you think your team should be in that top 4?
If it is a close then every game is a very hard game making them all the best to watch.

If by my team you mean Hull Fc, then yes. Large crowds, 25000 seater stadium, grade A liscence.
If you mean would i only like it if my team was in the top four? Perhaps¬¬
My point is that there cannot be 28 rounds of fantastic close games, it just will not work. The NRL league does not seem very attractive to me, i would much prefer a league with "big" teams to beat. St's and Leeds at the moment, the Bradfords and previously Wigans of the past.

| Re Whiting - i think i kind of know what you mean....this close comp stuff is all very frustrating in that you simply do not know what the hell your team are going to do week in week out (you could argue that's been our problem for a long while ).
The cap levelled off the NRL and the same is happening here, i like the idea but the reality is (as a fan) you could beat Saints one week and lose to Celtic the next it's that hard to call.

There are not 28 rounds of great rugby, however games are difficult to call only one team won at home at the week-end. Who wants the same teams year in year out in the CCup & G/final( apart form the relevant fans) for the sport to grow all teams need to be on an even playing field which the salary cap is achieving. It provides all teams and fans the optimism every season. It stops our sport becoming like football.

I agree, and in the end that has got to get quite boring for Saints and Leeds fans? Or maybe not¬¬
I think the salary cap is a great idea, but that has been in place since 1996
Another idea would be to increase it slightly to attract talent from the NRL at a younger age then 30+. Probably not practical and my idea is full of flaws, but just a thought

Fair point however we have to invest in our homegrown talent which is why overseas players are to become gradually less. This then gives us hopefully the opportunity to compete with more experience in all positions in Internationals. I think all the measures create more opportunities for the sport across more clubs thus attracting more fans/revenue/recognition to the sport. It would be great to be a top 4 team consitently however this season is a wake up call for a lot of clubs, it is not on a plate you have to recruit well, coach well and play well and hopefully at some point we at FC will realise that

| I think Warrington, Bulls, Cats and Wigan will all get better in the second half of the season and put pressure on the current top 8. We are vulnerable and that is down to losing at home to Wire, Wakey and Cas, all games we should have won.

Hopefully we will take note, but i trust Agar knows what he is doing.
Hopefully they will never not allow imports from Australia and such to play in the Superleague, as they can benefit our younger players in a game sense, and to handle the pressures of being a proffessional. No offence to many English players, but they are thick as
I think it's great for fringe players to learn a new style of their game from the other side of the world. I will always remember seeing Berrigan sat with Danny Houghton with his exclusion of the squad for the challenge cup final last year. I think i'd rather be comforted by Berrigan than Kingy
