The crowd only seemed to be up to it at two points int he game for me.

1, When Manu got penalised int he first half for going in on their defender with his arm/elbow. The team and the crowd seemed to respond to it albeit for a short time.
2, When we started to play a bit with 10 mins to go.

We are the ones that should be up on our feet when they come out n try give them the good start, that we wanna see, if they are still rubbish towards the end of the match then at least we know we've done our part, but at least lets start with a win in mind??!!!

And i will not be out sung on fri by them sofa supporting rovers fans that have only made the journey cos they wanna see a good stadium!!

Okay the atmosphere was crap, but at what point do those highly paid professionals take their share of the blame. Short of pretending, let's face it there was little on show to get exited about. Got home after the game and watched a recording of Leeds V St Helens, it was like night and day. Why did we bother signing Calderwood if we never pass the ball out wide? The way Leeds'n'Saints keep the ball alive is not only good to watch but exites the crowd. It's very hard to create an atmosphere when the fare is five drives and a mediocre kick. Keep the faith.

So yesterday was a team giving it's all, was it?

And if it wasn't, why on earth should we cheer them? Do you get a pat on the back at work if you perform like you don't give a toss?

I clapped Salford off. It must be one of the few times I've not clapped us off tbh

They were roundly applauded as they came back towards the South Stand after their final try. Some of their players clapped the Hull supporters in response.

I usually stay to clap the team off but I left as soon as the hooter went.
