Really disappointing performance. I wasn't expecting a win but was hoping we'd make a game of it. At least we won't have to play them again - unless we have a heroic run to the play offs.
Crazy that we now regularly have games lasting two hours.
wonder if there are any stats for Thaler interventions. he is an extra time machine game needs a time limit, say 90 seconds, no decision, stick with the onfield call

Obviously it wasn't the most exciting game from our perspective, but there was times during the second half when I almost started nodding off with all the stoppages! The average game is now consisting of two 50-plus minute halves, throw in the extended half-time and every game is now drifting over the two hour mark. On afternoons like today, the game can feel endless!

| That?s one to put in the ?Bad day at the office? category.
Think we have done well so far and far better then we thought we would. The make shift 17?s with no 2nd rowers especially took their toll and caught up with us today.
I can?t be too disheartened as although today was our worst performance of the season we have shown so much improvement up to this point.
Plenty to work on next week and right the wrongs.

Well beaten but it really does puzzle me some of the 6 agains wigan were awarded. They lay on as much as kr do for that fraction of a second longer , yet don?t get penalised. Ref is obviously nearer to the players so can perhaps see things we can?t see from the stand.
biggest gripe is the 2 hour games. 5 min video ref review on Miski try followed by 2 min goal kick by keighran.
I'd get the shot clock on for conversions as well now, it's all far too slow and stop start games are taking away the ethos of RL being all about building pressure and tiring the opposition out. As for our performance that was a reality check, we can't expect to compete with top opposition making that many errors and some of our passing is very poor. Still pleased with the increased effort this season but effort only gets us so far.

| Haven't seen the game yet. I did have it on my phone at work, but really didn't get to see much. But looking at the match timeline it looks like the try just before half time was a killer as the game was still just a one score game at that point.
It's an improvement on the scoreline from the earlier season scoreline at our place.
We still have more power to come into our pack that we had missing today. And also have experience to come into our three quarters when Rapana is in and Zak is back in there.
Still sitting pretty in the table going into magic. Bring it on.

Funnily enough I made precisely that same point to my mate, think it was during the four hours it took for Thaler to make up his mind about the Miski 'try'!! I know times change, but it has become ridiculous. As you say, back in the day it would literally take us 90 minutes from kick-off to full-time, and that was most weeks as well. Change isn't always for the better I feel, and it's not just a case of us old-timers banging on about the 'old days'!!!

| Important we don't slip up next week and we come out with both points. Then 3 big away games against teams that's also gonna be in the mix for those play-off spots.

| We were our own worst enemy at times but can?t fault the effort Weak team we had out didn?t help. Wigan had extras gears to go up when they needed. Ese didn?t look too good and think knight may just with collective points cop a ban. Briscoe was outstanding. Agree with earlier post Ashworth and Cust had subdued games. Tbf we?ve played the best 2 teams a total of 4 times now. The rest are more than beatable.

| Shot ourselves in the foot to many times and never learned from the errors we coughed up.. Jack sh17 is what he is, always bumbles through games leaving everyone confused at what he's doing. Still no excuse for the errors we gave Wigan to capitalise on. Our edges were poor today but hopefully will learn from today. Hopefully no injuries and we chuck everything in to next week against Huddersfield then a week off.
